Assessment Task 1
1. Outcomes means clear learning results that learners have to demonstrate, what learners can
actually do with what they know and learned.

2. Institutional outcomes are statements of what the graduates of educational institution are
supposed to be able to do beyond graduation. Program outcomes are what graduate of particular
educational programs or degree are able to do at the completion of the degree. Course outcomes
are what students should be able to demonstrate at the end of course or subject. And learning
outcomes are what students should be able to do after a lesson or instruction.

3. OBE enable the teacher to set learning outcomes to challenge every students for making sure that
knowledge is being connected through the learning process.

4. The advantage of OBE is, it increase a clarity of focus among the learners and teacher. There are
learning strategies and evaluation to outcome that help the learner to be informed of the progress
at every stages of learning. And the disadvantage is, outcomes emphasized in OBE learning focus
on feelings, values, attitudes and belief over attaining factual knowledge. OBE also relies on
evaluation that are subjective rather than objective tests and measurements.
Assessment Task 2
1. In my own definition, approach is a combination of principle, beliefs or ideas about the nature
learning. Methods is a different instructional procedure that used by the teacher for a student to
participate, demonstrate, recite and memorize every lesson. And technique is compose of
different strategies that aligned with the instructional goals and objective of a teacher to be able to
teach students in easy way.

2. K to 12 curriculum’s nature of learning is to provide sufficient time for mastery of concepts and
skills and prepare students for tertiary education, middle-level skills development, employment
and entrepreneurship.

Definition and Examples


Direct Instruction Teacher is actively participating with the students. Examples are question
and answer, lectures and presenting a video.
Indirect Instruction Student is using tools they have learned to complete an assignment or
project. It can also be reading of text or journal articles.

Assessment Task 3
1. According to the inquiry-based teaching, skills and the ability to continue learning should be the
most important outcomes of teaching and learning, but for me it does not mean that no need for
the lesson content. Content of the lesson is important because it determines what to teach and
how the learning will be facilitated. It also help students develop the skills of their perspective
and their knowledge about the lesson.

2. I am one of the student that is timid, I usually speak when teacher called me, but it doesn’t mean I
don’t participate in the class, I often think deeply first about my ideas and knowledge before
speaking out. I explore my understanding in the lesson in a silent way, and apply my knowledge
in my own experiences.
3. Yes, I agree. Through teaching we can obtain a deeper knowledge and understanding about the
lessons that we can applied in our daily life. Teaching is very essential because it help us provides
stability and career opportunities as we grow up. It also lead us to be more curios and aware about
somethings that we are eager to know, it enable us to search more for knowledge and wisdom that
we can get through education.

4. 16 habits of mind is characterize as effective problem-solver. It gives disposition in behaving


intelligently when confronted with problems in life. When we apply this habits of mind the
results are more powerful, with high quality and greater significance. The 16 habits of mind
