1. Layout
- The magazine’s layout was catchy because it used pleasant and relaxing colors. They
used high-quality and large images from various photo shoots to attract the readers. In
every photo, there is a short description of their arrangement so that the readers will
be able to recognize who is being described in the image.
2. Headline
- In terms of headlines, the writers have created intriguing headlines that piqued the
readers' interest enough to have them read the entire magazine piece. The subheads
below assert the magazine's content, providing readers with an overview and a sense
of what to expect from the publication.
3. Style of writing
- The magazine was narrated from the first-person perspective. It made use of
colloquial language and key terms so that readers could understand and connect with
the author.
4. Major Objective
- The magazine of What’s Eating The World. This magazine is all about body
devouring itself, citizens squandering precious rice, kids dying by a second and
hunger exposed in this magazine. Hunger is defined as a condition in which a person
does not have the physical and financial capability to eat sufficient food to meet basic
nutritional needs for a sustained period. It is commonly known that the cause of
hunger in the world is not a shortage of food but rather access to food. Some people
are hungry because food is in short supply in their area and for a specific reason. It
may be because they can’t afford to buy enough food. It may be both.
5. Types of readers
- The types of the readers are those people in the whole world to know what’s the real
situation to those countries that can’t afford food and become undernourished. Then
they cannot even work to earn or produce food. This magazine could also be for
readers who like reading about the real situations in the other countries like issue
about poverty and hunger in a particular place or country.
6. Types of pictures
- The magazine contains high-quality photos. It was also mixture of colored and black
and white photos. Most of the face of people is hungry and sad.
7. Cost
- The magazine is priced at 125 pesos. Because the magazine is printed on high-quality
paper, it was a little pricey. The paper is more expensive since it is more durable.
8. Distribution schedule
- The magazine was published in year 2016. It was released at the end of the year.

Newspaper

1. Layout
- The layout of newspapers is simple and clear, which should be a must in terms of the
content. Because the news piece should be the focus of attention, not the colors and
layout of the newspaper, pictures. The headlines have a bold typeface and a larger
font size than the rest of the content. The font is formal in appearance. Each section of
the newspaper has a page layout with suitable margins. Every news article has a
specific picture that corresponds to it, as well as spacing. It has also page number.
2. Headline
- Every news article's headlines or titles, particularly the big headlines, are bolded.
The font size is larger than the article's body. Because it needs less effort, the words
picked are shorter space. The most prevalent words in headlines are adjectives,
adverbs, and verbs. Some headlines were accurate, readers will know what the story
is about right away. Some information was revealed in the story, and some of the
headlines were very intriguing.
3. Style of writing
- The newspaper's writing style was formal, without jargon, and the terms used were
intended for a general audience. Every article's first sentence provides a concise
introduction to the article. It includes quotes from an interview with government
authorities or any other credible source that backs up the news with solid evidence.
To summarize, the newspaper uses plain language, is free of jargon, is not lifeless,
and gives facts about what happened, why it matters, and who was involved.

- Because the quality of the paper is very thin and more on black and white pictures
and context it cost 40-50 pesos, it is expected that the cost of the newspaper will be
cheaper due to the materials used and to make it more affordable to the people, as it is
their right to be informed about what is going on in our country through various news
items.

- The distribution schedule of newspaper's release weekly in order to provide the
audience with fresh and up-to-date information.
