AM+ NOT = I´m not
Se contractan así:
I am not explaining lesson two right now Is + not = Isn´t
I’m not explaining lesson two right now. Are + not = aren´t

III.4. SPELLING OF –ING (Reglas para escribir la terminación –ing)

END OF VERB –ING FORM EXPLICACIÓN

Rule 1.- Consonante + -E Quite la E y añada –ing.


ex: smile smiling
erase erasing

Rule 2.- Una vocal + una consonante Duplique la consonante y aña –ing
ex: Sit sitting
stop stopping Excepto con w, x, y
ex: snow = snowing
fix = fixing
say = saying

Rule 3.- Dos vocales + una consonante Añada – ing sin


ex: read reading duplicar la consonante

Rule 4.- dos consonantes Añada –ing, no duplique la consonante

Mar wasn´t playing cards las night. + v (ing)
You were not eating dinner late last night. were + not = weren´t
You weren´t eating dinner late last night.
