 Introduction
Hello genius! I hope you learned a lot in our previous lesson.
This week’s module contains instructions and set of activities that you need to accomplish
for you to learn new knowledge in Estimation of Whole Numbers.

Estimation is not guessing. It is giving approximate answer.

Estimation is a process of approximating the answer in order to avoid an unreasonable answer
due to careless mistakes.
Examples:

Multiplication
In estimating products, we round off the factors to its nearest highest place value, then
multiply the rounded numbers.
Note: In rounding off numbers to its nearest highest/greatest place value, only one
whole number is retained and the rest will be 0. Then multiply the estimated factors.
Since it ends in zero/s multiply the non zero digits, and count the number of zeros
as the estimated product.
