Sarthak & CII – 2nd Virtual Job Fair for Persons with

Platform: Rozgar Sarathi- Job Portal for PwDs
Sarthak Educational Trust is a civil society organization working since last 14 years for the
empowerment of People with disabilities by providing them sustainable job opportunities.
According to an ILO report ‘Persons with Disabilities and the India Labour Market- Challenges
& Opportunities’ of December 2011, out of the 80 million persons with disability in India, only
about 0.1 million have been employed by industry. To help bridge this gap, Sarthak in
collaboration with CII organised Job Fair with an objective to provide placement opportunities
to PwDs. The Job Fair brought together prospective employers and deserving candidates to
enable on-the-spot job interviews.
Considering the COVID situation, 2nd time Sarthak have conducted virtual job fair through its
platform Rozgar Sarathi- Sarthak’s newly launched digital solution. It is directed towards
helping persons with disability get employment at equal opportunity workplaces. It is a job
portal that is accessible to persons with disability. As a digital solution, it aims to support the
financial independence of PwDs by promoting available jobs and employment opportunities
in Government and Private Organizations. Rozgar Sarathi also helps employers as it serves as
a platform to post jobs as well as shortlist and select candidates.

Dr. Lal Path Labs, Vmart, Reliance Trend, Flipkart, HCL, HP, GE, Amazon, Accenture, Saarathee,
Profin Management, Mangesh Enterprises, Emotion Digital, Team Cloud, Gopremier, Abloom,
Les Concierges Pvt Ltd, Rap Info systems Pvt. Ltd., Adept Edusys Pvt. Ltd., etc.

Eligibility Criteria for Participation:

1. Age: 18 to 35 Years
2. Disability Type: OH/ HI/ VI/ ID
3. Educational Qualification: Minimum 10th qualified
4. Willingness to work.
5. Permanent resident of India

In reference to the above summary of the 2nd Virtual Job fair, in total 19 companies
participated against which 170 PwDs had shown their interest in participating in the Job fair.
Out of which 60 PwDs had been shortlisted and 30 have been offered jobs.
