Movie - Shershaah

Scene - Kargil war scene - to recapture point 4875

'Shershaah’ movie starts with a glimpse into Captain Vikram Batra’s life, but soon steers it
into the established combat zone.. The martyred Captain’s war cry ‘Yeh Dil Maange More’
when he reported the capture of point 5140. Almost immediately after, he volunteered to be
a part of other mission too, to recapture point 4875.

At this stage, Vikram Batra volunteered himself for this mission. Other soldiers of his
company also offered to follow him.

In this scene he was commanding a mission to rescue an injured officer during an enemy
counter-attack. During the rescue attempt, he pushed aside the another soldier by saying,
"You have children, step aside." let me go. But other soldiers were saying Sir even if you
rescue him he won't survive the attack but Captain Vikram Batra said I can't just leave him to
die so he rescued injured soldier, while rescuing he was hit within the chest from an enemy
sniper and a second later was hit by a Rocket Propelled Granede. Caption Vikram Batra
breathed his last next to his fellow employee . And the injured soldier survived the war.
This whole scene shows the courage that he was holding and passion of keeping every
soldiers life before his own.

He was a great leader because she stood their as a shield for combat safety and he inspired
each one of them to be fearless, strong, committed and dedicated towards their goal which
was to recapture 4875. He even lost his own while rescuing an injured soldier. He was
always prepared to exceed his abilities, be diligent in getting tasks completed and stay
focused on safety. He always motivated his mates to be fearless and to fight for their country.
This whole scene was so stressful but still he managed to relax everyone and avoided
panicking. Captain Vikram Batra, thus, displayed the foremost conspicuous personal bravery
and leadership of the very best order within the face of the enemy and made the supreme
sacrifice within the highest traditions of the Indian Army.

This scene personally inspired me a lot, his bravery and courage was something that
represents a leader, and his every action in this scene motivated his soldiers to be brave and
fearless like him. My inspiration from this scene was if we wanna achieve something in life
then we have to take risk, we need to be fearless, and also if u are a leader then u have to
think about your employees or followers. You can't push, you have to pull them. Being a
leader is not easy, we need to be very responsible and very focused on our goal.
