Introduction
The world is called global village, as in recent times world has became more interconnected then past,
the media coverage is all over the world as a result news from all over the world travels at the electric
speed, in such case it becomes very difficult to judge that whether the coming news is genuine or fake,
fake news has come to fore more recently than in the past but the venture to spectate the fake news
has been something in and around the world for pretty much forever, there is a famous quote that says
that a lie can make around the world before the truth has the time to walk, and this has always been the
case.Fake news can be verbal or non verbal. As the inheres of people increases on social media the
chances the spreading of hoax news increases too, so the question comes under consideration that can
we implement modern technologies i.e., data science, machine learning, AI algorithms to detect
whether the news on some article, or media is true or fake. And if it is then we take a step so it can be
stopped before it can cause its harm. Fake news can cause many political issues as well as can destroy
public health as people start taking justice int o their own hands. Our main objective of this study is to
find out such algorithms and techniques to detect fake news, hence most of the research work we find
on internet is on English language in this work we will be comparing the fake news detection of
languages other then English, such as Indonesian, Portuguese, Turkish etc, due to less availability of
resources and AI tools for these languages, the features of their corpus and checking the accuracy of
different methods and algorithms used for these languages. As fake news is not only a problem in English
language but it is equally dangerous in other language, this work will tell which approach is better to
tackle different languages in fake news detection. Automatic fake news detection is very useful as we
won’t need human capital to keep a check on every news, we can implement it on social media to stop a
news even before it makes to public, still there are some issues with it like scalability , accuracy etc we
will be discussing them too in this work
