Bạn thường xem TV khi nào và xem gì?

I’m a couch potato, and I watch TV whenever I want. I’m really into watching TV drama
series and reality shows. I feel they are not only useful but also entertaining and
sometimes touching.

A: Tôi thích ngồi trên một chiếc ghế thoải mái và ăn gì đó khi xem TV. Còn bạn thì sao?
Làm thế nào để bạn thư giãn trước TV?

I can spend hours sitting in front of the screen to watch my favorite programs. I love
lying down on the couch and switching channels as I want with a remote, watching while
eating fruit or snacks.

B: Giữa xem tivi một mình và với người khác, bạn thích cái nào hơn? Tại sao?

I’d rather watch TV alone because I find it extremely relaxing to chill out and fall asleep
to a film by myself. Moreover, I can switch channels as I want, laugh out loud even burst
into tears without being irritated by other comments.

C: Một số người nói rằng xem tivi quá nhiều không tốt cho trẻ nhỏ. Bạn nghĩ sao?

Personally, I totally agree with the statement. Many kids these days suffer from various
health problems such as obesity, eye strain, or fatigue due to prolonged television
watching. Sometimes violent television programs create a bad impression on children's
minds.

Part 2

I decided to join because I have a thing for gardening. Not only can I meet and make new
friends, but I can also learn new gardening tips and improve my gardening skills.

Part 3

1. Miêu tả khu vườn nhà bạn

My home garden is beautiful and I love it very much. There is a big tree right in
the middle of my garden, which is surrounded by a small water fountain, a section
for vegetables, and different kinds of flowers. 
 2. Xu hướng trồng cây có đang hot ở nơi bạn sống không? Vì sao?

Most Vietnamese people tend to use fresh fruits and vegetables which are grown
in their gardens. Therefore, gardening may be very popular here. Moreover, it is
also a good excuse to unwind after a stressful day and stay positive.

3. Bạn thích mùa nào nhất trong năm?

Honestly, I extremely love spring because it offers a wonderful feeling, with

gentle breezes and occasional fine rain. One of the best things about spring is that,
during this poetic season, nature displays itself in vibrant green and colorful
flowers are noticed everywhere.

1. Question 1

Hi Linh,

How it is going?

Have you heard about the news that Mr. Seiko's talk show on The Gardens of
Japan has been canceled? Instead, Mr. John will give his talk on The gardens of
England one more time.

I am relatively disappointed about this,

Don’t you reckon that we should invite another speaker ?

2. Question 2

Dear Mr. Tom,

My name is Quyen and I have been a club member for one year.

I am writing an email to express my feelings and suggestions about the upcoming

talk show.

According to the announcement, Mr. Seiko's talk show on The Gardens of Japan
has been canceled due to the speaker's sickness. Instead, Mr. John will give his
talk on the gardens of England one more time. I am really disappointed to hear that
because I have prepared carefully for this coming up event. 

Although Mr. John is an excellent speaker, listening to a talk show once again is
not a positive idea. Could you hold another speaker talk show?

I think it would be better if you could persuade The Garden of Japan at your
earliest convenience. I am extremely excited about Japanese culture and would
like to learn about how is gardening there.
