SPEAKING PART 1

1. Where do you come from?

Well, I was born and grew up in Binh Duong, which is located in the south of Vietnam. It’s a kind
of industrial city with many factories, and I think it’s quite detrimental to my health because I
have to breathe in contaminated air every day. Besides that, it is also a very vibrant city. You
can feel the bustling atmosphere in the evenings especially on weekends here.

2. Are there any special places that tourists visit in your hometown?
Actually, there are many interesting places here, but when it comes to places that attract
tourists when traveling to BD, I would say Dai Nam park. It’s famous for beautiful landscape,
amusement park, zoo, racecourse and more. This is an ideal entertainment place at a
reasonable price that I believe everyone should experience if they get the opportunity to visit
bd.

3. When is the best time of year to visit your hometown?

I think the greatest time to visit Binh Duong is autumn because you can feel the pleasant
weather. It is not too hot and rainy as summer or too cold as winter. The weather is really
suitable for outdoor activities. I believe that tourists may feel at ease and be in an excellent
mood while enjoying the warm weather and gloomy autumn landscape with yellow leaves

4. Why do you like/don't you like your hometown?

I actually enjoy the lively vibe here, it makes me feel more energetic and work more
productivity. What's more i like the friendliness and kindness of citizens, they are always willing
to lend a helping hand when i need. However, it is because of vibrancy , my city is more
polluted day by day.In addition to the smoke from factories and vehicles, the city is also
contaminated by human waste.

5. Where are you living now- in a house or an apartment?

I am ling in a house with my nuclear family. Honestly, I find it s more comfortable than living in
an apartment because we have our own parking lot, which we don't have to pay a monthly fee
for, like in an apartment. Our house also has a yard, so we can grow plants and vegetables or
sometimes celebrate an outdoor party.

6. Does anyone else live with you?

I live with my parents and 2 older brothers. Of course, sometimes we can't avoid arguments
when we live together, but after every dinner, we usually gather to watch TV, talk about our
difficulties and solve them together. This also tightens our relationship as well.

7. What is your favorite room where you live?

Certainly my bedroom. It’s my personal place that i can do whatever i want without being
bothered by anyone. Moreover, im a kind of lazy and sedentary person, so I spend the most of
my day in the bedroom. Especially in recent days, the weather has become colder, and all I
want to do is just lie in the bed and do nothing. That's a great pleasure.
8. Would you recommend your accommodation to another person?

Definitely my own bedroom. It’s the personal space where I can do whatever I want without
getting scolded by my mom. Besides, my bedroom is an ideal place for me to avoid noise, so I
tend to lock myself up in my bedroom whenever I need to concentrate on my study

SPEAKING PART 2
Describe a sports event you watched or attended.
Hi my name is DTHD, now I'd like to talk a sport events that I watch.
To be honest, I was not really fond of sports at first because i found it quite boring while sports,
particularly football, are one of my best friend's favorite activities.
Sports competition between schools in province are held every year and two years ago my
friend was chosen to compete in the football competition. At the time,I was really looking
forward to it because it was not only my best friend's match but also the biggest event I ever
experienced. In addition to football, this event also had many competitions such as relay race,
basketball, volleyball, and so on. This tournament took place in the largest stadium of my
province and there were so many students, teachers, and even parents in attendance to cheer.
When I got to see football match in reality, I didn't expect it to be as intriguing and thrilling as it
was. The audience was totally focused and fascinated on cheerleading, making the competition
even more exciting.
However it was hard for me to watch the whole match because .I couldnt see the replay of
scoring moments like on TV.
Even so, the result did not disappoint me. Eventually,my friend's team won as well as bringing a
football championship to my school. That filled me with pride. Furthermore, I had a great time
enjoying the match and thanks to this, I also feel a little more interested in sports now.
