1. Do u like doing any of these activities in your spare time?

➡ Yes, certainly. For me, I take a keen interest in going swimming. I often go to a
swimming pool which is located in the north of the city. The ticket is quite
reasonable, so it’s convenient for me to go there on a daily basis.

2. Which activities do your friends like doing?


➡ As far as I can see, most of my friends are interested in going swimming,
running, and playing badminton in the afternoon. All of these activities help them
stay fit and reduce stress after a hard’s day work.

3. Which of the activities are popular in your country?


➡ From my observation, running and swimming are becoming more and more prevalent in
my country. The parks and swimming pools are full of people every afternoon. That
means the local is living a healthy lifestyle.

1. Did you watch this sport in your spare time?
➡ No, unfortunately, I didn’t have a chance to watch this sport event. At the time,
I was busy preparing for the Final test at school, so I couldn’t have time for TV
watching.

2. Do you like to do this sport in your spare time?


➡ Well, you know, football is not a girly thing. Therefore, I haven’t had any
chance to play football. Instead, I just watch some of my friends play this sport
after school.

3. Is this sport popular in your country/where you live?


➡ Yes, absolutely. As we all know, football is a king sport, therefore, it is very
popular in Vietnam. I could say that the majority of Vietnamese love playing and
watching football.

 1. What do you do usually do in your spare time?


➡ In my free time, I tend to read books or listen to music, which really sets my
mind at ease. Whenever I read a book, it’s like I’m immersed in another world. And
listening to my favorite songs helps me to chill out.

2. Do you prefer doing things by yourself or with friends?


➡ Well, I’m kind of a social butterfly, so as u can probably guess, I’m in the
habit of doing things with my friends. This helps to strengthen our social bonding.
Besides, doing things with others would also be fun.

3. Is there anything special you do at the weekends?


➡ Let me see. At the weekends, I have a tendency to go to the cinema with my
buddies. I take a keen interest in watching the latest series. This is a great way
to release stress after a hectic schedule at school.

4. Do you think you get enough free time?


➡ Honestly, I don’t reckon that I have enough free time. Recently, I feel
overloaded with assignments and housework. I even have to burn the midnight oil, so
my answer would be no.

1. Have you ever had a part-time job?
➡️If you ask me, it would definitely be a business assistant. I used to work for an
international company when I was a freshman. This parttime job is really intriguing
when I can broaden my social circle of friends.

2. What kind of job would you like in the future?


➡️Actually, in the coming years, I would like to become a lawyer. Because, u know,
this type of job requires me to be good at communication and other skills, this can
assist me to become a multitasked person. Especially, it is also seen as a well-
paid job.

3. What kind of job is popular with young people in your country?


➡ The young generation likes to do jobs that involve creativity and where they can
work independently. They also look for jobs that are well paid and require less
physical effort. In our country, most of the graduates are employed in the IT
industry. I think they like to work as programmers or IT administrators.

4. Is there a job that you would not like to do?


➡ To tell you the truth, it’s a doctor that I am not interested. In fact, I will
need to go through a long period of training in order to do that job. Compared to
other occupations, it would take me at least 6 years to have a bachelor degree in
medicine.

1. Do you usually go on holiday every year?
➡ Yes, definitely. I am up for adventures, so I usually go on holidays per year.
It’s a fantastic way to let my hair down and lift up my mood. I often choose to do
some solo trips.

2. Do you prefer to go to cities or the countryside?


➡ Well, were I to take a pick, it would be going to the countryside. I am now
living in the city and I just want to enjoy green spaces and harmonious atmosphere.
More importantly, I can avoid noise pollution in the city.

3. Do you like to travel alone or with other people?


➡ As I just mentioned before, I prefer travelling alone. By this way, I can
completely immerse myself in my whole world. It’s quite convenient for me to decide
to buy or eat everything I want.

4. Why do people like to travel?


➡ It’s understandable to see that people are into travelling nowadays. It’s simply
because they need to unwind and uplift spirits after stressful time. Besides,
travelling is a good way to open their horizons.

1. What different places have you been to on holiday?
➡ Truthfully, I have had many chances to go to a variety of places on holiday. I
went to a mountainous area last summer, where I could enjoy the natural beauty of
the countryside. This year, I just had a trip to Quy Nhon, a coastal city in the
south of Vietnam.

2. Have you ever been to the desert? What about a city break?
➡ Unfortunately, I haven’t had a chance to go to the desert. It seems to be the
most thrilling experience I want to undergo. You know, it’s good to have a city
break. It would help us to work more efficiently after a break.

3. What kind of transport have you used during holidays in the past?
➡ As I recall, during holidays, I travelled around the city by bus and motorbike. U
know, both of them are quite fast and convenient for moving around the area.

4. Have you travelled anywhere alone?


➡ Yes, absolutely. I had a solo trip to Da Nang 3 years ago. At the time, I wanted
to treat myself by a trip, so I decided to spend 3 days there. I tried a variety of
seafood and took tons of selfie photos.
