Staying constantly up to date on better and new ways of teaching English is a must when we
are looking to develop professionally. Learning a more student-oriented way of teaching is a
way to increase the outcomes of the learning process. As teachers we always have to be
aware that our students are human beings who already have tools they can use in their
learning process and that our main goal is to help students use them in communicative
situations.

Assessment
Theoretical and practical assessments will be carried out twice on each module and
the Certification Exam for “Especialidad en Enseñanza del Inglés” will be the final
exam.
Certification
At the end of the course participants will be invited to take an exam to get certified
for the Specialty in Teaching English. During the course, participants will prepare
their class video as well as the corresponding lesson plan.
Modules:
This is a 100 hours course which will be taught in two 50 hour modules.
