Document Development Exposition: White Paper

Explain in detail your document’s development from planning to finish, describing your
challenges, how you overcame them, and what you learned.

Planning
Since our white paper had to be related to the reaktion book we chose, mine had to be related to
water. I had recently read that water would be the cause of the third world war and found the
subject interesting, so I decided to do it about that.

First Draft (for peer editing)

In my first draft, I wanted to have the general schema of the assignment. An introduction to the
problem, the problem, solutions.

Second Draft (for your packet)

All I did for the second draft was expand on what I wrote in the first draft, add more solutions, and a
conclusion, and finish another part like the table of contents images.

Final Draft (for your portfolio)

For the final draft, I had to change the formality and structure of my assignment. Since I don't have
much knowledge of how to write a formal paper the second draft had too much emotional text. I had
to change some parts to make it sound more formal. The format was also messed up since it was
supposed to be a problem, solution, and how the solutions solve the problem. I had to add a section
explaining how my solutions solved the problem.
