Document Development Exposition: Instructions

Explain in detail your document’s development from planning to finish, describing your
challenges, how you overcame them, and what you learned.

Planning
I honestly didn’t plan that much for this assignment, and I really just through myself into something
at the last minute topic-wise.

First Draft (for peer editing)

My first draft of my instructions was challenging because I really don’t know how to use excel if I’m
being honest, so I had to learn how to complete the task without instructions by myself first. I did a
pretty decent job overall I think, but it was very crude.

Second Draft (for your packet)

Just made some slight editing changes based off my peer responses, but nothing too crazy. Honestly I
think I just didn’t want to have to do more work than was necessary at the time.

Final Draft (for your portfolio)

Before this, I failed to see the obvious flaw that my instructions just needed to be completely
changed in how they came to the solution. There was an easier way that gave the user access to
more information faster and the feedback you gave me on the assignment was helpful.
