Document Development Exposition: Instructions

Explain in detail your document’s development from planning to finish, describing your
challenges, how you overcame them, and what you learned.

Planning
In my planning section. I took into consideration that changing a tire can sound super simple. You
take the tire off and put it back on and you’re done. I wanted to go the extra step, and include more
information than the basic knowledge.

First Draft (for peer editing)

For my peer edited draft. I was basic to start with so I could get a general grasp of what I could leave
out or include. I didn’t add as many pictures as I should have and was pretty plain on what some of
the tools were along with, I wasn’t completely done for the initial review.

Second Draft (for your packet)

My second draft included some more photos to go along with instructions. It gives the user some
more general knowledge of what they are working with. Also went through the testing phase to
make sure the instructions were easy to follow and understand.

Final Draft (for your portfolio)

For my final draft, I added pictures and information to fully understand the instructions, where to
find jacking points, and rephrased a lot of my words. It made my instructions precise, and accurate
which helped them make it easy to follow.
