PECPL has two shift of working, day shift from 06:00AM to 17:00PM, night shift
from18:00PM to 05:00AM and general office staff is from 07:00AM to 16:00PM. All
worker sage is mostly between 22 to 50 Years old.
PECPL has Certified QMS ISO9001:2015, EMS ISO14001:2015, HSMS which
Complies with OHSAS ISO18001:2007&SRMS which complies with ISO26000:2010
Gandhi Puram Metro Deep Under Ground Station 1F4/5A1.
The Project Manager is responsible for health and safety (who is directly reported to
Project director).

I Carry out my risk assessment consulted different sites like also referred
HSG150(https://www.hse.gov.uk/pubns/books/hsg150.htm) for gaining in formation. I also get
some information from ILO

I visit to PECPL company site meet with HSE Manager and he refer me to HSE Officer
for site inspection. The officer gives me site visit, after that he give me some previous
record of accident happening onsite from different hazards. I have spoken to HSE
Officers, Engineers and workers about their workplace condition, health, and safety
management system of the organization. Identified the hazards by observing workers
were working in unsafe condition, Unsafe movement of vehicles, found some water
accumulation and chemical spillage on site. And some near misses happened on the
spot.
Some actions were already taken but it was not satisfactory to ensuring health and
safety to the workers. Some of the necessary actions was missing
atsitewhichmayleadtoworkersseverinjuriesanddamagepropertyorequipment.

Following the inspection, I referred back to the notes that I made during inspection and
source of information that I had already reviewed to help me to decide on any additional
control measures of unsafe condition, unsafe movement of vehicles and workers, water
accumulation, and for chemical spillage that were needed.
