3. How will you ensure your success on the Field Ready Complete
programme?
Well, to ensure my success in the Field Ready program, I'll go to work hard
and dedicate my attention during the 16 weeks that I will be there, for this, to
assimilate theoretical and practical knowledge learned both during the my
course and the program in order to obtain results that satisfy me and tend to
solve engineering problems applied to industries and society in general.
4. What challenges do you think you will face on the Field Ready Complete
programme?
5. I think that the challenges that I'll find on Program are the trainings applied in
personal skills, Hygiene and Safety in the work environment that will serve as
a foundation in my professional career, as well as the field experience that will
help me a lot to gain professional experience. And still being able to interact
with other participants in order to exchange experiences and information. This
program will help me to become a qualified technician and increase my
employability, while inspiring other young people who are afraid of doing
engineering.
6. What are your career goals? Where would you like to be in your career
in 3 years time and 10 years time?

I like learn new skills and I would like do a Masters in Mechanical Engineering,
before that I would like work in a company where I can apply my knowledge and
become a good professional recognized at national level, in 10 years I would like to
become a University Professor in one of the engineering faculties in the country
where I can share all the knowledge and skills that I will have developed until then,
but also open a company (car repair and maintenance workshop).

7. Tell us about a time you worked as part of a team to solve a problem.

What were the issues? How did you resolve it? How did you work
with the others in your team?

Yes, I worked in a mechanic shop, as a maintenance technician, the problems

solved were as follows:

 Crankcase oil change;

 Replacement of spark plugs;
 Crankshaft replacement;
 Replacement of pistons and connecting rods;
 Replacement of injectors;
 oil filter replacement;
 Air filter replacement.

As a car maintenance technician I had the opportunity to change the crankcase oil,
replace the oil filter, replace the air filter and I solved the problems as follows: to
replace the oil in the crankcase it is necessary to use some tools that make
disassembly easier the screw and the air and oil filters are simply a normal
replacement the car at rest, And the remaining problems we did teamwork such as:
 Replacement of spark plugs;
 Crankshaft replacement;
 Replacement of injectors;
 Replacement of pistons and connecting rods.

Using some work related tools (mechanical tools)

8. Tell us about someone from your course or workplace whom you admire
and why.

I was admired how beer is produced (beers from Mozambique-Nampula) because

days ago I was there together with my colleagues and teacher, beers from
Mozambique they use big automated machines in the production process in fraction
of seconds, and it is normal to produce 3,000 more beers in an hour this surprised me,
and I also learned that to make the beer is necessary to pass for many processes

9. Essay Questions. Please write no more than 300 words per question.

Please choose and answer two of the questions below. You can expand the spaces
between after question as much as you wish.

a) Do you think online learning is as good as, better than, or worse than
face-to-face teaching? Please explain your answer

I don’t think online learning is better than face-to-face teaching because it is very
disadvantageous to study online, for technical courses such as engineering and
commercial, and it makes teaching online very difficult, I think isn't very productive
comparing to face-to-face teaching. Therefore face-to-face teaching education has its
advantages:
 Direct contact between teacher and student;
 Task monitoring;
 Availability to clarify doubts;
 Interaction and dynamics;
 Less distraction;
 School environment promotes evolution;
 Physical structure that generates learning in practice;
 Participation in congresses, symposia, lectures, seminars.

Nowadays, students of the most diverse ages have countless distractions, largely
because of the technologies they have. Therefore, during a face-to-face class, it is
more difficult for the student to be distracted by a technological device, to stop a class
for a moment and go back to watch it moments later.

‘’The school environment is a space for evolution for all students’’

b) How important do you think it is for men and women to be treated

equally in society? Please explain your answer

I think that our society differentiated women and men in a social practice and then
attributed greater value to male characteristics and when you have within a difference
an attribution of greater and lesser value, inequality is generated. But it's still just a
legal prediction, because reality shows that the most degrading inequality in the
treatment of these rights still weighs on women's backs, often hidden under the eyes
that turn to the achievements of some. The difference in remuneration between men
and women, in the exercise of the same work and the same function and the
difficulties of access to the highest and most prestigious positions in organizations is
one of these realities. For us to balance this needs to be deconstructed, because if it
was learned in this way, it can be learned in another way that allows women to
develop their full potential and access opportunities in the same way as men
