Job Description
Senior Automation Engineer BioFuture (Distributed Control System, DeltaV) (f/m/d), NTO, Schaftenau,
Austria
300 Million. This is the number of people worldwide who are suffering from autoimmune disease and who
would benefit from less expensive medication. As member of the new formed Automation Plant 1 team you are
working with us in our innovative BioFuture Plant in order to manufacture drug substances faster and more
cost-efficient.
• Support to administrate, maintain and further improve a distributed control system (DCS) as an active
member of the automation Plant 1 team together with our development partners in a complex production
environment
• Act as an SME for DCS-interfaces (e.g. field-I/O, measuring devices, packages), for interfaces to other site
systems (e.g. PI, AMS) and the connection to the manufacturing execution system (MES)
• Ensure a high availability of the plant working closely together with process engineers and production
• Support automation knowledge exchanges, system governance meetings, evaluate and manage reported
issues, work-around and fixes identified
• Takeover of projects including creating specification-documents, configuration and validating it
• Contribute to establish the new automation unit within a future-oriented and highly automated new production
facility by supporting knowledge transfer and through transfer the initiative from a project status to a stable
operational mode

minimum salary as stated in the collective bargaining agreement. For this position the minimum salary is €
54,788.30/year (on a full time basis). The actual salary will be significantly higher, as we strive to maintain a
competitive position in the market and consider your previous experience, qualifications and individual
competencies.
