Functions, Duties and Responsibilities of the DSAC
1. Supervise the conduct of the screening process in the municipal
level
2. Receive documentary requirements (during the timeline only)
3. Verify, validate, review documents
4. Review the gallery and master list
5. Declare and prepare list of names of disqualified athletes
6. Sign and countersign in the gallery
7. Sign the AR-1 (Division Level Screening Officer)
8. Issue gallery to tournament officials
9. Conduct hearing in case there are petitions on the qualifications
of athletes
Functions, Duties and Responsibilities of the MSA
1. Receive all documents of athletes, coaches, assistant coaches and
chaperones from coaches. They shall be assisted by the members
who are school sports coordinators of the high
schools/elementary in the same municipality
2. Screen, evaluate, verify authenticity of documents submitted
3. Check data entries in all forms if all are consistent with the birth
certificate
4. Check completeness of the set of documents (all required forms
must be present)
5. Check uniformity of paper size material used (all A4 size)
6. Check gallery (properly arranged)
7. Prepare master list of the municipal athletic delegation and
submit e-copy and hardcopy to the DSAC
8. Submits all documentary requirements to the DSAC on or the
deadline set (to be finalized today)
9. Signs in the transmittal letter

This is to submit herewith the Final Master List, Picture Galleries (hard and soft
copies) of the screened athletes, coaches, assistant coaches and chaperones for
the Municipal Athletic delegation of ________________ to the 2017 Palarong
Panlalawigan.
We fully understand that any false information given or any true information
withheld from said documents may provide grounds for administrative
disciplinary actions against us.

RULES ON PARTICIPATION
1. Participants
1.1 Participants in the Palarong Panlalawigan shall be elementary and
secondary athletes from public and private schools who participated in
the lower meets. Secondary athletes shall refer to athletes from Junior
High Schools or Senior High Schools
1.1.1 Secondary level athletes from SHSs shall refer to all Grade 11 or
12 students from DepEd SHS, private SHS, private Higher
Education Institutions offering SHS, State Universities and
Colleges, and local Universities and Colleges offering SHS and
other SHS pursuant to existing DepEd Orders
2. Eligibility of Athletes
To be eligible as participant, an athlete must be
2.1 A Filipino citizen
2.2 Enrolled in a recognized school (schools with recognition/permit to
operate) at the beginning of the current school year
2.3 Should have participated in the preliminary meets
2.4 For elementary athlete, he/she should have been born in January 1,
2005 or after; and for secondary athletes, he/she should have been
born in January 1, 2000.
2.5 As a general rule, elementary athletes shall play in the elementary
division and secondary athletes shall play in the secondary division.
However, elementary level athletes who have been declared overage in
the elementary shall be allowed to play in the secondary level
