    ACTIVITY 2: THE ROAD MAP


    Part A.

    1. Search for one local news and one foreign news about sinkhole and landslide.
    2. Search and read the account on two major landslides that occured in the Philippines,
    namely, the Cherry Hill Subdivision Landslide and the 2006 Southern Leyte Mudslide.
    Analyze the causes and effects of these two landslides and make a report of your analysis.

    Part B.

    1. Collect pictures of landslides and sinkholes in the Philippines.


    2. Gather information regarding causes of these geologic hazards.
    3. Using the map, cite regions where landslides and sinkholes are found.
    Use asterisk (*) to mark the regions where landslides are mentioned while use X to
    mark the regions where sinkholes are found.
