1 Relative to Regional Memorandum 169 s. 2020 and in consonance

informed of the submission of School Monitoring
Evaluation and Adjustment (sMEA) for the 2nd quarter of calendar year (cy)
2020.
2 For effective implementation of sMEA, Regional order 004, s. 2020 provides for

SMEA tool has introduced some enhanced templates and has additional tables
to be filled
out by the schools which contain substantial data requirements relative to the school
implementation of mandated processes and school-based initiated interventions for
continuous improvement. This serves as the data collection tool to the quarterly progress
monitoring and evaluation and a facility to establish a school data bank.

3 Moreover, SMEA results shall be the basis for Technical Assistance (TA) which should also
be crafted and monitored quarterly by Districts and Division, respectively.

4 However, due to prevailing measures and health protocols in response against pandemic,
there will be no school/district presentation of accomplishment but iather o-nry tn" soft copy
of the accomplished template shall be forwarded to their respective districts for consolidation
and. preparation of report. School Heads shall ensure correctness and reliability of the data
as these shall be used during the conduct of the performance Review and Evaluation (pRE)
which shall be scheduled on a later date. It is underscored that the school shall utilizei the
revised template, analyzed the data and strictly follow the system of reporting and
presentation as stipulated in Ro 004, s. 2020. Thus, old templates shall no longer
be used.

template can be
accessed at
https: / /deped,in /depedaosursmea. In the Tlmeline Icon select 2nd Quarter to access
the Key Performance Indicators required for this quarter. It is again emphasized to read the
Instruction and download first the template before providing relevant data. The SMEA
data shall be forwarded to the Public school District supervisbrs/District In-charge for
consolidation on or before Tuly 20, 2O2O.

6 Public Schools District supervisors/Diskict In-charge shall upload the consolidated sMEA
at the same link above for Division Consolidation on July 23, 2020.

7. Immediate and wide dissemination of this Memorandu is greatly desired.
