Hello Teachers. I would like to welcome you all once again in our Faculty Development Program.

Today, we will witness another set of brilliant speakers that will impart their knowledge and research
with regards to teaching and learning that will benefit us all here in Marriott School.

Ms Creseah will be talking about the “Teacher’s Role in Promoting/Improving Literacy and
Numeracy to Students” while Ms Iza will be discussing the “Culturally Responsive and Relevant
Teaching and Learning.” Even though the 2 speakers are new here in Marriott School, they have
shown great effort in reaching out and teaching our learners with high performance. With the extra
challenge of being a resource speaker, I commend them for accepting the challenge. I know that
challenges like this stretch us to grow more and eventually perform better. Anchored with the
School’s Vision and Mission, this training is another domain under the PPST which teachers need to
embrace and realized its impact as far as teaching and learning is concerned.

So, let’s all listen with an open mind and a humble heart for today’s seminar and participate later on
with our open forum. Thank you all once again for all your support and Happy Learning!

Good day everyone! Today is another new learning session for all of us. As always, I’m here to give you a
welcome remarks once again and you are always welcome especially here in our faculty development
program. Let’s listen once again and participate to our 2 speakers for today in the person of Sir Cristian
and Ms Bethel. I would like to commend them for their hardwork and effort in rising to the occasion
once again and share what they have researched on our topic for today -- “The integration of lessons to
the 1130 program among learners” and “How student progress monitoring improves instruction”. I
know that they put their effort in making a presentation for us to learn another knowledge that will help
us in continuing our duties as an educator.
I’m encouraging you all to listen with an open mind and

Hello Everyone! Good Day to all. It’s a wonderful day today as we end our Faculty Development Program
for this school year. This is only the last for this school year but for the purpose of training each other,
we will continue this in some way or another as we are now getting ready for face to face learning again.
Is that right? Let’s hope and pray that 2022 will be the year that we emerged from this pandemic.

So, moving on, our topics for today is very timely since this will boost our psycho-emotional part of
ourselves. Ms Grace will discuss “Ways to Show Appreciation to Individuals” while Ms Claire will tackle
“Stress Management at Work”. From the 2 titles itself, I am pretty sure that we can all relate and I’m
excited with our 2 intelligent speakers for today. I’m excited with their sharing and well-researched
presentation. And I am congratulating them in advance for always taking the challenge and now-
partaking their new researched information to us this morning.

As I’m always mentioning, let’s be open always so that new learning will flow gracefully as we reflect
deeply on the concepts that will be imparted to us. Let’s listen, reflect and may we put it into action the
things that we will learn in today’s seminar. Welcome once again and Happy Learning to us all!
