Berdasarkan data-data diatas, dapat dihitung kebutuhan sirup glukosa dalam negeri
pada tahun 2021sebagai berikut:

Kebutuhan Impor Sirup Glukosa di Indonesia Tahun 2014-2016

Didapatkan persamaan linier kebutuhan Sirup Glukosa di Indonesia adalah y =


15564x + 27844 Sehingga dapat diperkirakan bahwa kebutuhan impor Sirup
Glukosa di Indonesia tiap tahun meningkat. Pada tahun 2021 diperkirakan
kebutuhan Sirup Glukosa mencapai 136792 ton/tahun.

Kebutuhan Ekspor Sirup Glukosa di Indonesia Tahun 2014-2016

Didapatkan persamaan linier kebutuhan Sirup Glukosa di Indonesia adalah y =


368,65x + 2161,3 sehingga dapat diperkirakan bahwa kebutuhan Ekspor Sirup
Glukosa di Indonesia tiap tahun meningkat. Pada tahun 2021 diperkirakan
kebutuhan Sirup Glukosa mencapai 4741,85 ton/tahun.

Berdasarkan data-data diatas, dapat dihitung kebutuhan sirup glukosa dalam negeri
pada tahun 2021 sebagai berikut:

Pendirian pabrik glukosa dengan kapasitas yang cukup besar dirasakan
perlu, mengingat nilai impor glukosa yang cukup tinggi, serta kebutuhan glukosa
yang relatif meningkat dalam industri makanan dan farmasi setiap tahunnya.
Kapasitas pabrik yang masih dibutuhkan:
= Kebutuhan sirup glukosa – Produksi sirup glukosa
= 200.490,7 – 68.260,5 = 133.230,2 ton/tahun
= (66% dari kebutuhan sirup glukosa di Indonesia)
Kapasitas produksi untuk pabrik yang akan didirikan direncanakan akan
mendominasi 20 % dari total kebutuhan glukosa di Indonesia yang belum terpenuhi,
maka kapasitas produksi menjadi: Kapasitas pabrik yang direncanakan: = 20 % x
133.230,2 ton = 26.446,03 ton/tahun Kapasitas dibulatkan menjadi 27.000
ton/tahun, dimana pabrik akan beroperasi 24 jam/hari, 330 hari/tahun.

Penentuan kapasitas pabrik didasarkan pada pertimbangan untuk memenuhi


kebutuhan akan sirup glukosa dalam negeri dan meningkatkan ekspor. Peningkatan
ekspor akan meningkatkan perolehan devisa negara sehingga dapat digunakan
untuk membayar utang luar negeri indonesia. Jadi, dapat disimpulkan bahwa
kapasitas produksi yang direncanakan untuk pabrik baru yang akan didirikan ini
berkemampuan memenuhi 20% dari kapasitas pabrik dan kebutuhan sirup glukosa
dalam negeri pada tahun 2021.
