2021 ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT ON AREA PROPERTY CUSTODIAN

I.INTRODUCTION

In accordance with the policy of the government to Basic Education Program


(BEP) the Department of Education promotes Education for all wherein pupils and
stakeholders along the vicinity of the community shall also ensure, keep and safeguard
all properties owned by the school through the assistance of the Area 3 Property
Custodians as well as the School Property Custodians. Through this mandate, the Area
3 of Parañaque along with its 7 including Elementary Schools developed proper care
on all school properties as far as the Custodianship is concerned.

II. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The implementation towards accomplishments of the Plans throughout the


whole year is the main purpose of this Report. It reviews how manageable the process
gone through. This also tackles how effective activities and plans are well undertaken. It
measures all areas of concerns regarding District and School Custodianships including
access and governance in fulfillment for the whole year round’s accomplishments.
Below are the pictorials and narrative reports on the activities undertaken for the
following lined activities:

III. A. Reports of Meetings on Physical Checking of PPE

In compliance with the stated immediate roll call for Area Custodianship, Seminar
and workshop as well as orientation for cross checking and Physical Checking of Plant,
Property and Equipment were designed and were held at Loreland Farm resort,
Antipolo City on March 17-18, 2016.
It started with the recalling of the roles and responsibilities of respective
Custodians of the designated Districts within the Division of Rizal. It was also tackled
how cross checking are to be done accordingly. The Facilitators also lectured on the
proper accomplishments of stock cards, property cards, and textbooks. Equipment like
furniture, canteen properties and other IT equipment are also undertaken on how they
will be numbered and be prepared on cards accordingly. Schedule of the visits within
their respective Districts along with the aligned visit in all schools in the entire district
was also announced. Dissemination on the meeting was afterward designed on the
school custodians of the Pililla District.

B. Reports of Meeting on Year- End Schedule of PPE Checking

As part of the year end Reports, All District Custodians were called for another
immediate responses on the Finalization of the schedule on the Physical checking of
Inventories of Plant, Property and Equipment.
Along with the matter is the proper distribution of Grade 10 materials, Iron
Supplements and claiming of medical supplies relatively for the whole district’s
designated materials handed for each District custodian.
The Meeting was held at the Deped Conference hall Taytay Rizal on April 6,
2016. Dissemination on the meeting was afterward designed on the school custodians
of the Pililla District.

C. Reports of Meeting in Preparation for the PPE Checking

As the process of checking called for, meeting for District Property Custodians
was again managed in preparation for the Physical checking of Plant, Property and
Equipment (PPE) of all schools within the area by District.
The immediate meeting was held at The Deped’s Conference Hall, Division of
Rizal on May 30, 2016.
Dissemination on the meeting was afterward designed on the school custodians
of the Pililla District.

D. Reports on the Conduct of Inspection by the Division Personnel


As part of the mandated conduct of checking, Division Personnel headed by Mr.
JI Pascual and Mrs. Kristina Cruz, the physical checking of all school properties within
Pililla District was successfully underwent on July 27, 2016.
All Schools within the District were properly inspected through the prepared
records of School Property Custodians. Checked documents were all submitted in the
Division Office ahead of the visit. Reports and documents shown were appropriate for
updated stock cards, property cards, Master list of plants, equipment as well as the
annual procurement plan of each school custodian.

E. Reports of the meeting on the Distribution of Science and Mathematics


Equipments
Carrying on responsibilities of being the Custodian and as far as the as the
technical support of the district is concerned, a meeting was again called for all District
Property Custodians on the delivery of the various Science and Mathematics materials
on August 1, 2016 at Deped Conference Hall Taytay Rizal.
Alongside of the immediate call was the orientation on the acceptance and
distribution of the materials to each school within the designated district. Dissemination
on the meeting was afterward designed on the school custodians of the Pililla District.

F. Reports on the Property and Supply Management Disposal of Unserviceable


Government Property

Demands arise as the supplies ran out. Managing unserviceable materials are on
the responsible hands of the school custodians. They will never be call as unserviceable
enough if the materials are still considered to be functional. Learned from the seminars,
the District Custodians of the Division of Rizal once again undertook trainings on the
proper handling of Properties and appropriate management of disposal of unserviceable
government properties on September 14-16, 2016 at the Commission on Audit (COA)
Building Commonwealth Avenue Quezon City.

To be able to reach more to the respective schools, School property custodians


within the district took their role on carrying on the responsibilities of managing
unserviceable materials. A re-echo seminar on the same subject was undertaken on
December 1-3 at the Deped Conference Hall Taytay Rizal.
G. GAD Training and Team Building

Good blessings came after all the hard works. All school custodians enjoyed the 3-
day seminar on GAD Training and team building brought excitement as good
camaraderie among our respective school custodians were driven out on the days of
December 1-3 at Iba, Zambales.
