LETTER OF APPOINTMENT

Dear Liem Doan,

Please consider this a confidential letter and only for your input. We reserve the right to withdraw this offer and
exclude you from any further opportunities with EPAM if any information in this letter is shared.

We are pleased to offer you the position with our Company in Vietnam under the following terms and conditions:

Job Position : Software Engineer - Level 2

Term of Employment : Full-time
Manager : Hoang Phung
Start Date : August 15, 2022
Probation Period : 60 days from the start date
Base Salary : VND 27,000,000 per month
Workplace : Ho Chi Minh City

In addition to the above the following term and conditions will be applied:

1. 13TH MONTH SALARY

As an EPAM employee, you are eligible to receive an 13th month salary, up to one month’s basic salary which
will be paid to you in the December payroll. To qualify for the 13th month salary, you must be employed by the
Company and you must not be under notice to terminate your employment on the payment date. In your first year
of employment, your 13th month salary will be pro-rated depending on your Start Date. If your total amount of
unpaid leave or sick leave is more than 30 calendar days in a calendar year, you will not receive 13th month salary
in proportion to that period.

2. OTHER BENEFITS:
As an EPAM employee, you will receive the supplementary payments as below:
Meal allowance VND 730,000 per month
Phone allowance VND 500,000 per month
Sick leave Employees are entitled to 10 days of sick leave full paid per year after 3 months of
continuous employment with EPAM Vietnam. Medical documentation required by
Vietnam Law must be submitted and approved.
Vacation 19 Annual leave days per calendar year (1st Jan to 31st Dec). Annual leave of employees
who join mid-year will be prorated from the start date.
Health Insurance You will be provided health insurance for yourself and 2 dependents (Spouse and Children
only) subject to EPAM Vietnam’s standard policies

3. SOCIAL INSURANCE
You will be eligible to receive the below Social Insurance:

a) Health Insurance
b) Social insurance
c) Unemployment Insurance

4. DEDUCTION
The Company may deduct from your salary, allowance and other compensation (if any) any withholding tax
and Social insurance/Labor insurance premiums, Residence tax and other deductions that the Company is entitled
or required to make under applicable laws.

5. EXPENSES
Reimbursement of travel expenses, such as flights, taxi, hotel and travel subsidy, will be subject to prior
approval by the Company, and will be granted in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures in force
from time to time.

6. PERIOD OF NOTICE FOR TERMINATION OF EMPLOYMENT

Period of notice for termination of employment shall be as follows:
a) Notice Period: 30 days
b) During probationary period: 03 days

7. HOURS OF WORK
Your standard week is 40 hours and daily regular working hours are from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, with
one-hour break for lunch which is not counted as working hours. The Company may specify when you can take
your lunch break

8. SPECIAL NOTE
This offer letter may be cancelled if any of the following facts are revealed:
a) Fabrication of academic and/or professional records
b) Any illness or injury found during the medical check-up mentioned above that may prevent the smooth
performance of the daily business, or failure to undergo the stated medical check-up
c) A judgment by the company during the probationary period that you lack material competence to perform
the work.

9. OTHER CONDITIONS
• The Employee will be subject to a probationary period of 60 days. During the Probationary Period, the
Employee’s employment may be terminated by the Employer with or without cause as per terms specified
above.
• Work location may be changed at the discretion of the Company or due to assignment of work from time
to time.
• Any items not stated in this letter shall be governed by the Work Rules and other related laws and
ordinances.
• This letter shall be governed by the Vietnamese law.

10. CONTINGENCIES
All employment offers are conditional upon the verification of your background, credentials, references and
employment eligibility. Background verification may include criminal record and/or credit checks, dependent on
position. In the event you begin work prior to the completion of required verifications, your continued employment

will be contingent upon successful completion of those verifications. In addition, your employment will be subject
to the following conditions:
✓ Signing of EPAM’s Employment Agreement
✓ Providing legal proof of your identity and authorization to work in Vietnam
✓ Completion of EPAM’s Code of Ethical Conduct to be completed on your first 5 days of employment
✓ Completion of EPAM’s and client’s ongoing Compliance Certifications in case of need

You are required to present/submit the hard copies following documents on or before your joining day:
For Local candidates:
1. 1 Notarized copy of Inhabitant Registration Book
2. 1 Notarized copy of the highest Certificates/Degrees
3. 1 Notarized copies of ID card
4. 2 colored photos (3x4)
5. 1 Health Check Certificate
6. 1 Criminal Record (Vietnamese)

Employment contract will be issued based on your acceptance of this Letter of Appointment.

authorize EPAM Systems Vietnam and/or its third-party service providers the rights to conduct background check
on you and to lawfully share the results to designated parties, internal or external.

This offer letter is valid for two (2) working days from the issuing date.
