Graduate Engineer
- Recognized academic qualification by EAC, BEM or need to be top up with master degree by
instruction from accredited university
- Copy of Mycard, certified true copy of degree and full official transcript
- All document must be certified by Professional Engineer who registered with BEM

- All graduates intending to work in Malaysia should first register with BEM once they obtained
their degree certificate.
- It is a legal requirement and failure to do so may result in predicament in future.
- In case of Zain, once he obtained his degree, he needs to register directly with BEM to avoid any
tight schedule in future.
- BEM only recognized the experience gained by engineering graduate only after he has
registered as a graduate engineer.
- Taking account 5 years of engineering experience, Zain has wasted 5 years’ worth experience.
And should be within that period, he can be professional engineer which carry title ‘Ir.”

- BEM is one of government body that regulate law 127 which environmental protection.
- Professional engineer should well verse in pollution that emitted from their product and need to
be contained within limit. Failure to do so can result in fines.
