1. Before reading the material/ understanding the lesson, I thought that


writing a literature review should include critical analysis of the connections between other works as
well as connecting this study to your own work.
However, reading the material/ understanding the lesson, I now think/ realize that
composing a review of related literature resembles writing a critique paper or an evaluation report of
data from the literature connected to your chosen field of study.

2. Before reading the material/ understanding the lesson, I thought that a literature review is a
traditional research endeavor that includes investigation into a problem's cause or solution.
However, reading the material/ understanding the lesson, I now think/ realize that
it does much more than just summarize academic material. It concentrates on a particular area of
interest to you, provides a critical study of the connections between many works, and connects this
research to your work.
