Philippines Santa Rosa Campus conducting a research entitled “Challenges during
Practicum: A Narrative Inquiry of ESL English Teachers”. As a qualitative research, this
study will utilize Reflective Essay and Interview questionnaire in gathering data from the
participants.

us to identify possible items for improvement.

The purpose of this study is to determine the challenges that student teachers face while
performing their practicum, how the practicum changes their perspective on teaching students
English as a second language, the contributions and challenges of the practicum on the student
teachers' lives, and how they cope with the challenges that they face during their practicum.
This study will also look at the ramifications and conclusions of student-teacher throughout their
practicum experience.
