Common information
This data module gives the procedure to verify the nitrogen pressure to the Nose Landing Gear
(NLG) tire and Main Landing Gear (MLG) (written as "tire" in this procedure). There are two
tires installed in the NLG and four tires installed in the MLG.

Procedure

WARNINGS
• It is recommended to do the servicing of the tires when the tires are cool for at least
two or three hours after a flight. If it is necessary to do the servicing of the hot tires, do
not release any nitrogen pressure from the hot tires. Hot tires have much higher pressure
than cool tires and are dangerous. If it results in lower than required tire pressure, tires
that become cool can cause injuries to persons and/or damage to equipment.

• You must use only a tire pressure gauge and inflation equipment that are accurately
calibrated and in good condition. You can cause injury to persons and/or damage to
equipment.

• Use only compressed dry nitrogen to inflate the tires. Do not use compressed air. If you
fill the tires with compressed air, you can cause injury to persons and damage to the
equipment.

1 Do the tire pressure functional check of the cool tire on the NLG as follows:
Refer to Fig. 1.
1.1 Remove the dust cap (1).
1.2 Connect the charging and gauging kit (59603, Pt. No. 14-6833-6030) to the tire
valve (2).
1.3 Lightly push the tire valve (2) and release it.
1.4 Read the pressure of the tire and make sure that it is in the limits of the table
that follows:
Table 6 Cool tire pressure

* NOTE: Maximum Take-Off Weight (MTOW)

1.5 If the pressure of the tire is in the limits, do as follows:

1.5.1 Service the NLG tires. Refer to BD500-A-J12-10-32-01AAA-214A-A.
1.5.2 Install the dust cap (1).

Refer to Fig. 2.
2.1 Remove the dust cap (1).
2.2 Connect the charging and gauging kit (59603, Pt. No. 14-6833-6030) to the tire

that follows:

2.5 If the pressure of the tire is in the limits, do as follows:

2.5.1 Service the MLG tires. Refer to BD500-A-J12-10-32-02AAA-214A-A.
2.5.2 Disconnect the charging and gauging kit (59603, Pt. No. 14-6833-6030)
from the tire valve (2) and from the nitrogen bottle.
2.5.3 Install the dust cap (1).

3 Do the functional check of the tire pressure with the Tire Pressure Indication System
(TPIS) as follows:
Refer to Fig. 3.

Note
A maximum daily pressure loss of 5% or less is considered acceptable for
a 24-hour period (At same ambient temperature).

Below 95% of the normal cold tire specification Remove and discard the tire and adjacent.

Note
- If a tire has a pressure (5% or more) lower than the pressure of the
adjacent tire, servicing is required.
- Do not reduce the pressure of a hot tire that is to continue in service.
