One Piece is a Japanese manga (comic book) written by Eiichiro Oda.

He started writing
One Piece on   October 20, 1999. One piece has the best manga selling in the world. It
has more than 490 millions copies sold worldwide. It’s an ongoing manga series. He has
written 1048 chapters which is divided into 9 arcs. He has given this manga to get
animated to Toei Animation. Toei Animation is an animation company. Eiichiro Oda has
earned quite fame and fortune from his manga One Piece. He earns 3.1 billion yen in a
year. He is also known as one of the best mangaka in the history of Shueisha’s Weekly
Shonen Jump Magazine,  popular for the long-running manga One Piece. Eiichiro Oda is
truly the god of manga. One Piece is one of the best Anime/Manga series in the world.
Gol D. Roger was known as the “Pirate King,” the strongest and most infamous being to
have sailed the Grand Line. The capture and execution of Roger by the world
government brought a change throughout the world. His last words before his death
revealed the existence of the greatest treasure in the world, One Piece. It was the
revelation that brought about the Grand Age of Pirates, man who dreamed of finding
One Piece which promises unlimited amount of riches and fame and quite possibly the
pinnacle of glory and the title of the Pirate King. Among all the pirates around the
world there is a young boy named Monkey D. Luffy who accidently gains the power of
rubber by eating a devil fruit. He starts his journey to become the Pirate King at the
age of 17. He set sails on a small fishing boat in search of crew mates. He decided to
have 10 members in his crew. After setting sail he first meet a boy named Coby who
is weak and wants to become a Navy Admiral. Coby was a worker on a ship of a
pirate. He was treated badly over there. Luffy rescues Coby from that pirate and both
sail on another island. There they found a Pirate Hunter named Zoro. As Navy was
jealous of good works of Zoro they were punishing him. Zoro was going to be
executed after some days. When Luffy learns about all this he decided to help Zoro and
take him in his crew. While rescuing Zoro they get attacked by the navy. Luffy defeats
all the navy with the help of Zoro. After that Coby stays on the island to become the
navy. Zoro join in the adventure of Luffy while completing his own ambitions. After
that they reached on another island where they meet a Cat Bugler named Nami. She was
being chased by Pirates as she stole their treasure map. She came to Zoro and Luffy
and ask for their help. They decided to help her in exchange of foods. They fight the
groups of pirates and defeat all of them. After that Luffy decided to take her in his
crew as she was also a navigator. They set on two small boats and continue their
journey. After passing some island they reach Gecko Island where they meet a great liar
named Ussop. His village was being raided by the evil pirates named Black Cats. Luffy,
Zoro, and Nami helped Ussop and saved his village from Black Cats Pirates. Then the rich
girl of that village named Cana gave them a ship for saving their village from pirates.
After that they asked Ussop to go on a adventure with them. Ussop agrees to their
proposal and joins the crew. After they got the ship named Merry they travel different
island and reached a floating restaurant. There they meet Sanji. Luffy wanted to have a
cook on ship so, he requested Sanji to come with them. But Sanji declines the offer.
Luffy really wanted a cook so he tries to make Sanji come with them. After doing a lot
things Sanji finally agress to go with them and find All Blue ( mix sea where every kind
of fishes are found ).
After that they reach on the island where Nami lived. It was currently ruling by a group
of Fishman pirates. Arlong was their leader. Nami betray Straw Hats and tells them that
she was only using them. She tells them to leave the island but they don’t leave the
island. When they found out the reason of Nami’s betrayal they got so angry. She was
trying to protect her village from fishman pirates. Arlong had said her to bring 100
million beri so she used to steal the money from other pirates. After knowing all this
Straw Hats decided to protect her village. Straw Hats defeat the Fishman pirates and
asked Nami to come with them. She agrees to join the Straw Hats again. After travelling
some island they finally reach the Red Line. They have to go through the Red Line in
order to enter the Grand Line. Red Line is a very big mountain which cannot be climed
easily. There is a way to go up there through the fast flowing water current. Its very
difficult to enter that current. One mistake and everyone will die. They turn their ship in
the direction of water current. Their ship got imbalanced and headed to the edge of
mountain. Luffy uses his devilfruit power to expand his body into giant balloon and went
between the edge of the mountain and ship. After that ship turned into right direction
and they headed straight up to the mountain. When they reach at the top they got to
move down again. Moving down was so terrifying for them. Their ship was in so full
speed that everyone was scared. Their reactions were hilarious. While entering Grand
Line they all put their leg in a barrel and tells their dream. Sanji said in order to find
the All Blue. Luffy says to become the pirate king, Zoro says to become the greatest
sword man in the world, Nami said to draw the world map and at last Ussop said to be
a brave warrior in the world.
After entering Grand Line and travelling some island some pirates attack them. But
unfortunately they were no match for Straw Hats. They surrender so easily and ask for
forgiveness. Attacker name was Vivi. She had a pet named karoo. She tells them that
she is a princess of a nation named Alabasta. She asked their help as she thought they
were powerful. They all agree to help her.They went on a island where there were other
members like Vivi. Luffy and Zoro defeat Mr.5 and Ms.valentine. They move on another
island following Log pose(compass like thing which helps in navigation). While travelling
Nami got badly sick. No one in the crew knew how to treat her. Vivi uses some wet
cloth to lower her fever. They reach on Island named drum island. They decided to only
go some few members and others stay on ship. Luffy, Sanji, Vivi took name to a village
of that island. There they ask for doctor but unfortunately there was no doctor. A warrior
came to them and say there is one doctor but she live up in the mountain and only
comes once in a week. They didn’t have much time so Luffy decided to take Nami up
to the mountain. Sanji came along with Luffy. Ussop and Vivi stayed at the village
waiting for them to return. Luffy and Sanji start climbing mountain. While going up to
the mountain some wild beast appear and attack them. Sanji fights them and clear the
way. They keep on moving forward carrying Nami on back. As they move up more and
more beast start appearing. Sanji keeps on fighting them. But shortly sanji got beaten by
a bear. Luffy defeat the bear and carry both Nami and Sanji and starts climbing the
mountain. It was a freezing temperature but luffy didn’t give up. He was their captain
and it was his responsibility to take care of his crew members. Luffy reach to the point
where there was no way to go up to the mountain. The only way was to climb
vertically. Luffy didn’t give up. He starts climbing in that freezing temperature. While
climbing his hand became frozen. He slips from the mountain. He tries to make balance
and uses his hands to create friction so that they will stop falling. While doing that his
fingers got destroyed. Even though he climb. He starts losing consciousness while
climbing. After climbing a lot he finally reaches to the top of the island. He sees there
a castle. He took them there. Then a reindeer appears and take them inside. Luffy had
completely lost his consciousness’ so he thought reindeer was a human and says “please
save my friends”. After that luffy got unconscious. Reindeer was a devil fruit user who
had eaten a devil fruit named human human. He gains the ability of human. He could
talk human language. He treats their wounds. After some days Luffy and Sanji wakes up
and found out they are in a room. They had their wounds treated. They search for Nami.
They see that reindeer they were both hungry too. Luffy tries to eat that reindeer.
Reindeer was so afraid that he ran crying. Luffy and Sanji start chasing after him.
Reindeer reached to Nami and head doctor. Nami tells them that he isn’t food, his
name is Chopper and he treated our wounds. Chopper also wanted to go on a adventure
but was too nervous. Luffy asks chopper to come with them but chopper said I am just
a reindeer I wont be any help. And then Luffy says “shut up! Let’s go”. Then they went
on the village and they took some supplies from there and went to the ship. After
adding a new member to the crew they had a banquet. After that they travel a lot of
island and finally reach the Alabasta. After defeating enemies there they finally reach to
the boss. The boss was a Marine Warlord. He was capturing the Alabasta kingdom.
Crocodile was a devil fruit user like Luffy. His devil fruit power was of sand. He could
turn his body into sand. No matter how much Luffy tries he couldn’t beat Crocodile.
Luffy was beaten by Crocodile. After losing to Crocodile, Luffy finally knew how to beat
him. He then went to Crocodile and fight him. He had soaked his body with water.
Water was weak against sand so luffy beat him badly. After defeating Crocodile Alabasta
got free. They asked Vivi to come with them but Vivi decided to stay and rule her
country. After that they say good bye to each other by showing the cross mark which
they had made during their adventure.
While they were going from Alabasta suddenly Miss All Sunday appears which was the
partner of Crocodile. Everybody took position to fight her but she just sits there and
relax. She tells Luffy to let her join his Crew. Luffy didn’t see her as a bad woman so
he agrees. After that Ussop starts asking her questions and find out that her name is
Robin and she is an archeologist. With the 7 members on crew they start travelling
Grand Line. While following Log Pose something strange happen. Log Pose was pointing
up in the sky. Nami tells that to their crew and after hearing that Robin says it may be
pointing to the sky island. Robin tells them that she read in a book about a sky island.
Everyone was surprised to hear about the sky island as it was some kind of fairy tail.
They went on a nearer island to collect information about sky island. Luffy, Zoro, Nami
went to collect information while ussop went to buy goods and others staying on ship.
Luffy and Zoro went to the bar to collect some information. There they asked bartender
if he knows about sky island. Everyone on that bar laughed at them after hearing about
sky island. But there was a person who says its real! Sky island do exist. He says he has
been there. After that they went to the point where the log pose was showing direction
upward. They saw knocked up stream in which water goes up as like a bullet shooting
from a gun. Nami explains that it was because of the underground volcanos. When they
erupt they blow in a great force. Nami then realize how to get to the sky island. She
explains them that they can go to the sky island through this knocked up stream. But it
was too risky as one mistake and they could all die. They all agree to go on a sky
island and start making preparations. Ussop did some renovation and make ship more
strong and even gave it wings. They were all prepared to go. They waited at the place
where knocked up stream will come. As soon as the stream came they ride in it and
start going upward direction. Their ship was like flying.
After riding knocked up stream Straw Hats find themselves in the sea of clouds, but
before they had chance to relax, they got attack by a strange man in a mask who is
riding on the clouds. The crew are unable to defend themselves, but they are thankfully
saved by an old knight named Gan Fall who rides on a bird with a devil fruit ability
named Pierre. He points out to them that the reason they couldn’t fight back against the
“gurellia” was due to the thin air, tough immediately afterwards the crew says that they
are starting to get used to it. Gn Falls give them a whistle to summon him in case they
run into more trouble, and the crew continues on. They reach “Heavens Gate”, the
entrance to Skypiea where they are told to pay 1 billion Extols per person as the
entrance fee but the crew had no idea what the Extol is. Gatekeeper tells them that she
don’t care what they do, but doesnot warn them that if they pass without paying they
will be marked as a criminal and the Straw Hats goes into skypiea. There was a self
called God in Skypiea named Enel. He was a devil fruit user. He got power of lightning.
He was ruling over skypiea and many were against him. People of skypiea were not
happy with his work. After entering skypiea Luffy and his crew meet a girl on a island.
She took them to their home as its rare for the people from blue sea to come in white
sea. She treats them and shows some shells. When straw hats asked about whats going
on the island she tells everything to them. They extended their hand to help. After that
they went on a another island of skypiea where there was some commanders of Enel.
Straw hats defeat them and planned to split up. After splitting into two groups they head
on different island. After defeating every enemy on their way Nami, Sanji, Ussop, and
Luffy reach to the flying ship of Enel. Sanji was defeated by Enel and Ussop and Nami
were being attacked. Luffy attacks him and his attack works on him but Enel attack was
useless against him as luffy was made up of rubber. Enel keeps on attacking him but
luffy was unharmed. Like this Luffy defeat Enel and skypiea was free. There was a
Golden island in the skypiea as Straw Hats were pirates they decided to steal some
treasure and run. while stealing some people wakes up and they start running. Everyone
thanked them for saving their island and wanted to give them a big pole of gold but
that was too much they can carry so they only took some treasure and ran. They reach
to their ship and start heading to entrance of Skypiea. The girl and the knight from the
island came to say them goodbye. They head for the blue sea and they start falling
from the sky. Everyone had forgotten that they were in sky and the only way to go to
blue sky is to fall from sky. While falling everyone was so sacred that their reactions
were hilarious. Luffy remembers he had octopus which helps to land ship safely to the
sea. When he took out the octopus his crew beat him as he took out lately. After that
octopus filled air in it and it acts like a big ballon and the ship starts falling slowly.
While they were falling they tried some dials(shells) which was really interesting. After
sometimes Zoro notice something but he thinks that it was his imagination but when he
looks up again he saw the octopus was shrinking and the reason behind it was luffy
was jumping in the head of octopus. Crew scold him beat him up and luffy was like I
am sorry. After sometimes octopus shrink completely and they fall from a certain height
but everyone was safe. The ship absorbed all the impact and ship was also fine. After
they landed they found out that they landed in one of the base of Marine. As the
impact was too loud Marine came quickly to watch what happened. When they saw it
was a ship of Straw Hats pirates they act quickly and start investigating the ship but
there was no one to found as all the straw hats had already ran. Straw hats got separated
and tried to get out of the base. Nami was worried of her treasure which was in the
ship. After splitting zoro got lost as he don’t have any sense of direction. Luffy and
sanji enter the marine office and disguised themselves as a chef. Ussop and robin start
searching for the exit. After some time they got separated and ussop find a dock and his
ship was also there kept by marine. Sanji cooked food for Marine vice admiral as he
was disguised as a chef and luffy delivered it to him. As he give the food to the vice
admiral one meat ball keeps on disappearing. Vice admiral become suspicious and wait
for the meat ball to disappear, luffy extended his hand and tried to take meat ball in very
fast. But vice admiral caught and luffy got exposed and everyone got alert. Straw hats
starts running but they were surrounded by marine. Ussop had opened the gate of dock
but straw hats were surrounded by Marine. They got no choice but to defeat them and
make a way. But luffy uses his body and takes everyone to the ship by using his
devilfruit ability. After that they got out of the Marine base and start heading to other
island which log pose was pointing to. But marine found them shortly and start attacking
them. Their ship got more and more damage. They were able to escape from Marine and
start heading to Water Seven. They wanted to repair their ship and exchange their gold
for money. They reach the water seven and it was a best place for ships to repair. They
went to the repair shop and tells them to repair it but it needed a huge amount of
money as the damage was too great. After that Nami, Ussop and Luffy went to the bank
to exchange while others were roaming around the city. Nami and others were brought to
the V.I.P room as they had some value able treasure. The bank manager offers them 1
million beri and says them its worth this much. When Luffy and Ussop heared about this
they got so excited and starts dreaming. Luffy wanted to buy a bronze statue of him
exchanging gold. Manger then says to sign on a contract paper but Nami kicked on the
paper and give manager a killer look and said “they may be foll but I am not, don’t try
to fool me”. And after that she told about the bounty on luffy’s head and the manager
gives them the actual price of the treasure which was 3 million beri. They were really
happy to have that much cash. When they went to the shipwright, he told them that their
ship was beyond repair. No matter how much money you spend on it, it wont be repair.
He says its a miracle that this ship could travel upto here. Ussop was broken when he
hear this as this ship was given to them by his love. While on other hand robin was
taken away by the Navy . After that Ussop was taking all the money and headed to the
ship but some people beat Ussop badly and took all the money from him. When straw
hats knew about this they went to take back money. They found ussop lying on the
ground they said him to wait for a moment as they go inside of their hide out and beat
their ass off. Luffy zoro sanji chopper goes inside and beat them all but their boss was
not there. He had already gone to buy materials with that money. After rescuing Ussop
they went back to their ship. Luffy says we should let merry to rest now, she is in no n
condition to sail. But Ussop declines it, he says “how could we give up so easily, she had
taken care of us more than anyone”. Everyone knew it was hard but they had no other
choice. Ussop wanted to repair the ship while others were against it. Ussop sais I don’t
wanna be on crew if there is no Merry. Then he challenged Luffy in a deul for merry.
Ussop lost the deul but luffy said “you can have the merry”. Having found out Robin has
been captured along with Franky and both are being taken to Enies Lobby (an impenetrable
fortress of the World Government where criminals are convicted), the remaining Straw Hats
head off to reclaim her before she's taken to Impel Down and lost forever. But to do so must
make their way past a whole island of Marines and even then must contend with their strongest
force, the secret police, CP9. A rare villainous example - Spandam gives Kaku and Kalifa Devil
fruits as, implicitly, a reward for all their success in Water 7. Coincidentally enough, they come
in real handy once CP 9 collectively realizes the Straw Hats are serious about tearing Enies
Lobby apart to get Robin back . Minor compared to most other fictional examples, but the iconic
rooftop scene takes place over a gap so wide that the Straw Hats explicitly need a motor vehicle
doing a Ramp Jump to cross it. Nevertheless, the captive Robin (and her CP9 captors) have zero
problems hearing and being heard by the rest of the Straw Hats. Luffy, Nami, Zoro, Chopper, the
Franky Family, the Galley-La carpenters of Dock 1, Kokoro, Chimney, Gonbe and Yokozuna
left Water 7 in the prototype Sea Train, Rocketman, and head for Enies Lobby despite a heavy
storm known as Aqua Laguna. Meanwhile in the Puffing Tom, Sanji, Sogeking (Usopp) and
Franky attempt to rescue Robin. They encountered strong enemies, including Nero and Wanze.
However, their mission ended in failure, and Franky is recaptured by CP9. Reunited with Sanji
and Sogeking shortly thereafter on the Rocketman, the Straw Hats, along with the Franky Family
and Galley-La, began an all-out assault on the government island of Enies Lobby against
thousands of Marine soldiers and the Cipher Pol agents in a last ditch effort to rescue their
friends Nico Robin and Franky before they are dragged through the Gate of Justice. The massive
doors are the only thing standing between Robin and Franky and their respective destinations:
Marine Headquarters and the terrifying prison of Impel Down.
