MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU)

BETWEEN

NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT ORGANIZATION NDO SWAT PAKISTAN


AND

PRIME UNIVERSSITY OF NURSING SCINCES & TECHNOLOGY PUNST


ISLAMABAD PAKISTAN

General aims and objectives of this M.O.U is to work jointly and in collaboration with District
Sports Office Shangla for promotion of life skills Development, Capacity Development, and
training of /young sports players of District Shangla in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 2022.

Specific objectives of this M.O.U are to develop, enhance, young players life skills train young
players to give opportunity of exposure to young players through exposure visit physical training
and competition among the local and regional players.
to organize 2 days life skills development training for 50 numbers of players from Shangla.
to conduct organize 5 Days sports training camp at swat for young sports players of shangla in
different sports like volleyball, badminton, table tennis, cricket, squash, karate, highly
professional trainers will be hired by National Development Organization to train the young
talented players of shangla in above mentioned sports categories. District Sports Office Shangla
will support the project financially the project namely

Roles and Responsibilities of both the Parties:

1. Parties.
This Memorandum of Understanding (hereinafter referred to as “MOU”) is made and entered
into by and between the (National Development Organization NDO) whose address is:
Head office: K.K Road, Opposite Public school Sangota, swat. P/O Box # 11 GPO 19200 Swat
Pakistan and the (the District Sports Office Shangla) whose office address is:
Head Office: College Road Alpuri District Shangla Pakistan.
2. Purpose.
The purpose of this MOU is to establish the terms and conditions under which the activities

will meet and function- (Include a general description of the geographical boundaries of the
territory covered by the MOU).

3. Term of MOU.
This MOU is effective upon the day and date last signed and executed by the duly authorized
representatives of the parties to this MOU and shall remain in full force and effect for not longer
than 1 year This MOU may be terminated, without cause, by either party upon 3 months
written notice, notice shall be delivered by hand or by certified mail to the address listed above.

4. Responsibilities of National Development Organization NDO Swat Pakistan.


National Development Organization responsibilities will be including.
 The management and supervision related to The players soft skills development trainings,
physical training, sports relevant trainings, competition and exposure visits.
 NDO will provide all kind of services like exposure visits arrangement management for
young sports players of shangla, consultancy services, and will advise organize manage
the soft skills development, physical training and sports conference, cultural galas,
seminars, conferences, workshop for the young sports players of shangla/youth official
of, District sports of shangla.
 NDO will visit time to time during the project to advise the District Sports Office
Shangla management regard events activities.
 NDO will share the progress reports and updates on the progress about the project.
 NDO will provide Material to the center for trainee’s trainees will benefit to use of
equipment belonging to NDO while acting pursuant to this MOU.

5. Responsibilities of District Sports Office Shangla.


Will be responsible for provision of.
 Funds to NDO for young talented players need to be trained and give them exposure
visits and will provide internship to the young players from shangla/men’s/women’s and
will further help the trained young sports players men’s/ women’s in future for further
promotion and training when needed.
 District Sports Office Shangla will be responsible for provision of the internship
opportunities to the Trained players nominated by the NDO under the project, TALENT &
SOFT SKILLS GROOMING ONE WEEK’S CAMP FOR DIFFERENTS GAMES & PLAYERS OF
SHANGLA
 AND
 SPORTS LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE 2022 & other projects programs implemented by NDO
in future.
 PUNST will share its monthly reports with NDO and will update NDO from the progress.
 PUNST will give internship opportunity to the persons nominated by NDO in the
specified and market-oriented trades.
 The punst will be bound to complete the internship trainings of the persons within the
given time frame.
 The prime university of nursing sciences and technology will provide fund /financial
support to NDO for management and over all implementation of the prime student’s
development program while acting pursuant to this MOU.

6. General Provisions

A. Amendments.
Either party may request changes to this MOU. Any changes, modifications, revisions or
amendments to this MOU which are mutually agreed upon by and between the parties to this
MOU shall be incorporated by written instrument, and effective when executed and signed by all
parties to this MOU.

B. Applicable Law.
The construction, interpretation and enforcement of this MOU shall be governed by the laws of
the State of Pakistan. The courts of the State of Pakistan shall have jurisdiction over any action
arising out of this MOU and over the parties, and the venue shall be the Swat Khyber
Pakhtunkhwa Pakistan.

D. Entirety of Agreement.
This MOU, consisting of 04 pages, represents the entire and integrated agreement between the
parties and supersedes all prior negotiations, representations and agreements, whether written or
oral.

E. Severability.
Should any portion of this MOU be judicially determined to be illegal or unenforceable, the
remainder of the MOU shall continue in full force and effect, and either party may renegotiate
the terms affected by the severance.

F. Third Party Beneficiary Rights.


The parties do not intend to create in any other individual or entity the status of a third-party
beneficiary, and this MOU shall not be construed so as to create such status. The rights, duties
and obligations contained in this MOU shall operate only between the parties to this MOU, and
shall insure solely to the benefit of the parties to this MOU. The provisions of this MOU are
intended only to assist the parties in determining and performing their obligations under this
MOU. The parties to this MOU intend and expressly agree that only parties signatory to this
MOU shall have any legal or equitable right to seek to enforce this MOU, to seek any remedy
arising out of a party’s performance or failure to perform any term or condition of this MOU, or
to bring an action for the breach of this MOU.

7. Signatures.
In witness whereof, the parties to this MOU through their duly authorized representatives have
executed this MOU on the days and dates set out below, and certify that they have read,
understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions of this MOU as set forth herein.

8. Effectiveness:

The effective date of this MOU is the date of the signature last affixed to this page.
