ANNUAL ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT in ENGLISH


SY 2019-2020

I. INTRODUCTION

Our K to 12 Curriculum adheres to making each FILIPINO more competitive not only in our country but
also globally. English as our second language is of great importance. The ability to speak the English Language
entails not only being able to communicate with native speakers but also it may be used to communicate to
anyone in any part of the world as it is the most common second language being globally, thus making it an
advantage to be the best in any part of the world.

English is one of our tools for us to be successful particularly in the academics. When one understand
and learn the skills in communication, he/she will learn and understand the other subjects. So teaching the
English subject would really require time, health, mind and body as well as a good stimuli.

Every teacher should have a rich knowledge and information of new ways, techniques and strategies
of teaching the subject and also innovative end of the school year, he/she can report his/her
accomplishments, the fruits his/her labor.

II. OBJECTIVES

This report intends to:


1. Give information about achievements/ accomplishments made by the teacher and the learners.
2. Identify the activities undertaken to achieve the desire target for this year.
3. Express future plans for the subject.

III. HIGHLIGHTS OF ACCOMPLISHMENT:

A. Pupil Development

1. Conducted the Pre and Post-test in English for each year level.
2. Implemented Reading Remediation particularly to Grade 7 students.
3. Implemented different intervention programs to enhance reading and comprehension
4. Observed the Reading Month by doing different activities.
5. Conducted intensive training in Journalism in preparation for CSPC.

B. Teacher Development

1. Attended different Division Level-Seminar Workshop and Meetings.


2. Attended School- Based in Service Training.
C. Curriculum Development

1. Finished/ completed the required learning competencies for each grade level.
2. Assessed pupils’ performance through different tests.
3. Conducted Reading Program for English Grade 7.
4. Continuous preparation of Instructional Materials.
5. Continuous observations by our Principal and Head Teachers.

D. Physical Facilities Development

1. Continuous room structuring to make them conducive to learning.


2. Provided updated information for the subject through bulletin and display boards.

IV. FUTURE PLANS

1. Solicit 99% support from the parents and other stakeholders.


2. Procure Multi-media equipment
3. Eradicate non-reader
