Face-to-face learning is essentially a teacher-

centered method of education, and tends to vary
widely among cultures. Many modern education
systems have largely shifted away from traditional
face-to-face forms of educational instruction, in favor
of individual students’ needs.

The “Online Orientation” began at 10 o’clock

in the morning with a meaningful and passionate
prayer led by Mrs. Zenaida T. Sales, and followed by
the singing of the national anthem virtually
conducted by Mrs. Sandra C. Carpio. Mrs. Gloria F.
Tropezado checked the attendance of all
participants by section. Mrs Devy Ann S. Javier and
Mrs. Angela M. Mendoza served as the platform
host and web presenter.

The first speaker was our principal, Mrs.

Maria Filipinas S. Joson. She reminded the parents
and pupils to follow protocols in order to protect
themselves in the said Corona-virus. She
enumerated the things we should wear and rules to

learning.

The second speaker was Mrs. Zenaida T.

Sales, Master Teacher I. She discussed the limited
face to face classes wherein fully vaccinated pupils
have privilege to join the class. Weekly online
learning activity/blended learning is continous that
aims to engage with parents in protecting the health,
safety and well-being of their unvaccinated children.
She gave emphasis on the purposes, in line with the
Department’s goal in protecting and fulfilling the
rights of a child anchored on the Convention on the
Rights of Children especially in times where
community quarantine is currently imposed in the
country.

The third speakers was Mrs. Sandra C Carpio

She discussed the “Advantages of Face to Face
Learning in the Classroom” that each pupils
can access more information and richer
understanding through teacher and other students'
body language and voice. You have the opportunity
to connect with, problem-solve, and network with
other students from a wide range of backgrounds.

The next speakers were Mrs. Gloria F.

Tropezado, Devy Ann S. Javier. They discussed
“Why do pupils need face to face classes? They said
that Face-to-face gives better motivation to study;
instant feedback. It is too difficult to learn everything
through computer. Face-to-face interaction with
instructors is better for the learning process. Face-to-face
is better for resolving study problems.

Parents shared their opinions about limited face to

face classes.

It was indeed a very fruitful “Online

Orientation on Limited Face to Face classes” for the
Parents and Grade 1 Pupils!
