NARRATIVE REPORT ON SCHOOL LEARNING ACTION CELL (SLAC)

FY 2021-2022

“Once a teacher, forever a learner”, this adage is a constant reminder that

teachers need continuous professional growth and development. It connotes that
the learning of the teachers should not stopped the moment that had earned a
higher degree, much more, each of them to have constantly acquire knowledge
and abreast with swift and sudden changes in the curriculum.
Sto. Domingo Integrated School, in this time of changes and difficulties
brought by the New Normal teachers are facing various challenges. The
traditional face to face classes had been suspended and no one knows when will
this set up will resume. Consequently, teachers have to deliver teaching in
alternative ways of delivery modalities which is the modular distance learning.
In this regard, such transition to the new normal need updates and
adjustments to the part of the teachers. The teachers have to keep themselves
updated with the trends in the new normal. They should apply specific and
appropriate techniques that best suits teaching in a new normal.
Thus, the school conducted a School Learning Action Cell (SLAC) for
SY 2021-2022 to enrich and enhance teachers of their capability and skill and
bring the best of themselves and best teaching output and lifelong learning of
learners amidst pandemic.
