Dear Country Representative,

I wish to apply for the position of “Deputy Program Coordinator” in your humanitarian
organization, advertised in Cameroon Tribune of Thursday 29 th December 2016, which offers
me a big opportunity to work for CRS, reputed for her life-saving and people-oriented program
activities that bring relief and restoration to millions of vulnerable children and affected
communities in the globe.

With more than 16 years of work experience in operations management, business development,
and HR development, I am a fit for the position. In my current role, I am customer-focused and
result-oriented, negotiating and monitoring security service contracts with international
organization such as the British Embassy, the World Bank, including many big government and
para-public corporations such the Cameroon Airports (ADC), the Electricity Distribution (ENEO),
Telecommunications Regulatory Agency (ART), by ensuring the protection of lives and
properties, day and night, as set forth in the Terms of Reference.

Committed to the effective management of these contracts, I use leadership skills in delegating
powers to team supervisors and staff to make them be responsible and accountable for actions
taken, carry out periodic evaluation of performance and results for continuous improvement. I
will adopt the same approach in providing vision and leadership to CRS project staff and lead
them on a daily basis, to ensure that specific project performance targets are met in time and
scope cost-effectively,

As “Deputy Program Coordinator”, I will work under the directives of the Program Coordinator, in
collaboration with other heads of department in compliance with donor regulations and
organization policies. This interdependent collaboration will be leveraged by effective internal
and external communication mechanisms with donors, government institutions, project staff,
and beneficiary persons and communities, to meet stake-holder expectations.

Being a non-profit and humanitarian organization, budget drawing must be based on

established projects and programs, to be executed judiciously following project timeline, quality
deliverables and scope to the satisfaction of project beneficiaries and organization’s
expectations.

Additionally, I upgraded my skills and knowledge with a professional course in management

sciences, notably in Creating of enterprise, HR development, project designing and
implementing, market analysis, business law and more, which are very useful in career
development. Knowledge in accounting and sales techniques, has provided me with tools in
budget planning and monitoring, necessary in this role.

I have built a strong network with the public and partners and use bilingual communications
skills to interact and build trust-good for representation and community outreach. Relatedly, I am
knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Word, Power Point, Publisher, and Internet, useful in training,
reporting and information disseminating. I have a valid CEMAC Driver’s License B and a valid
international passport.

In short, I am the person/post fit for the vacancy, as seen from my work experience,
competencies and qualification.
I work with a global mindset, open to continuous learning for improved performance, respect
workforce diversity and gender equality and willing to travel and adapt into new environments.

Thanks for giving my candidature your kind attention, as I look forward to you, hopefully, to
schedule an interview in which I will know more about CRS.
