XBOX One Kinect for 3D Views 480
scanning on Surface Pro 4
Applies to:
Hello I'm trying to use the xbox one kinect to 3D scan a
Surface  /
person on my surface pro 4 (i5, 4GB RAM version), but
when the scan is done, there are several details missing, on Accessories
the face and the back. It just looks as a "melted" face.

What could be the problem? do I need a better GPU or is

kinect 360 better?

Hi Manuel,

Looking at the system requirements, Surface Pro 4

has enough processing capability. Are you
connected directly or through Surface Dock? Let us
know.

Windows. I've tried many times but even if I scan
just the face, it lacks detail.

I'm using Microsoft 3D scan app and 3D Builder.
