SUBJECT : ELECTION OF PHILIPPINE COUNCILORS LEAGUE

SORSOGON CHAPTER

In accordance with Sections 2 and 8 of the New Election Guidelines and Policy of the
Philippine Councilors League, which govern the conduct of the Provincial Chapter election,
all incumbent members of the City/Municipal Sangguniang Panglungsod/Pambayan, as well
as ex-officio members (SK Federation Presidents, Liga ng mga Barangay Presidents, and IP
Representatives) are notified and invited to attend the Provincial Chapter Election on
September 01, 2022, at 9:00 o’clock in the morning, at The Mansion, Capitol Compound,
Sorsogon City.

Relative thereto, a local registration fee of Seven Thousand Four Hundred Pesos
(P7,400.00) as agreed upon during the consultation and preparatory meeting held at the
DILG Provincial Office last July 7, 2022, will be collected to cover the assembly and election
expenses, food and accommodations, supplies and materials, Honorarium of PCL
COMELEC Board of Election Inspectors, Secretariat and Staff rendering services, and
assistance during the activity, pursuant to Section 14 thereof. Likewise, a Membership Fee
of One Thousand Two Hundred (P1,200.00) Pesos (for newly-elected councilors), a Term
Dues of Six Thousand Two Hundred Pesos (P6,200.00), and a Membership ID of Two
Hundred Pesos (P200.00) will also be collected pursuant to Section 13 of the New Election
Guidelines and Policy of the PCL. The payment of the Registration Fee, Membership, and
Term Payment Fee, including the Membership ID, is chargeable against local funds and
subject to usual accounting rules and regulations prescribed under COA Rules and
Regulations.
