It is said that Superheroes can have a negative impact on children’s behavior
Discuss and give your opinion. Essay at least 250 words
There are some opinions that the act of superheroes in the movies can influence
children’s behavior. While I accept that this may suit many people, I also believe
that superheroes have still some positive effects on children’s behavior
On the one hand, the positive impact is Superheroes act as role models, help
build self-confidence, instill compassion, and give children an idea about right and
wrong things. Children look up to their favorite people and follow their behavior,
ethics, and decision-making skills. Superheroes can be good role models as they teach
children various attributes such as courage, honesty, humility, fighting spirit, sense of
responsibility, and leadership. Moreover, Superheroes protect the needy and the
innocent. Being exposed to this superhero trait will teach children the importance of
compassion and inspire them to help people who need support
On the other hand, probable negative impacts of superheroes on children.
While superheroes have strong positive influences on your child’s life, they might
negatively affect the child too. The possible negative impact of superheroes may
include the risk of injuries, development of a superiority complex, violent behavior,
and aggression in some children. Children are more likely to immerse themselves in
the superhero culture if they are exposed to superhero movies, visuals, media, trying
to identify with characters, etc. Often, parents do not realize that not all superhero
movies are suitable for children. Some movies have adult content, which can
negatively affect young ones Children who have more exposure to and higher
engagement level with the superhero culture are more likely to be physically and
emotionally aggressive, warned a new study.
In conclusion, the hero world also has positive and negative effects on children.
It is important that you make your child understand that fiction and reality are two
separate worlds

It is said that Richer countries are happier
Discuss and give your opinion. Essay at least 250 words

Assignment
There are some opinions that the richer countries have, the happier citizens get. While
I accept that this can suit a variety of countries, I believe that rich is not enough for a
happy country.
On the one hand, the richer countries improve that a lot of people live in that can
have a high income. It’s a factor that can make them happier. For example, people
who have lots of money can buy plenty of things that make them feel better. They can
buy not only food or beverage but also some devices or services in their life. They
also can take some trips to reduce the stress from their work or family. In some
research by some experts in America, they show that more than 70% of richer
countries can make their citizens happier than the others. It improves the importance
of income to the countries.
On the other hand, a higher salary or income doesn’t completely make all people
happier. Also in one research in America, some people said that they don’t feel happy
when they have a high income. Because of spending a lot of their in working, they
can’t have free time with their families or other relationship. Moreover, they usually
get stressed or pressured to have a high revenue for their family.
In conclusion, it’s certainly true that high income can make people in a lot of
countries happy but money or salary doesn’t completely help us feel happier. So we
should balance between work, family or other relationships to make our life become
better.

UNIT 4
It is said that Lying can be incredibly harmful to our relationships and to the
people around us
I completely agree that lying can be extremely damaging to our relationships and the
people we care about but I believe that besides a lot of harmful effects lying still has
some small benefits.
Lying has its benefits. It allows people to feel better about themselves, makes
themselves look better in others’ eyes, and maintain good relationships. Some lies
may seem harmless, and the occasional lie is probably inevitable. But even little,
infrequent lies can add up to distrust and other related problems.
Firstly, lying decreases trust: A good relationship is usually maintained, developed
with trust. If your partner keeps telling lies, it can have a direct impact on trust. The
more lies they tell, the less you trust them or have faith in their honesty, which creates
suspicion, and the relationship gradually deteriorates.
Secondly, diminished compassion and empathy: Lying makes it harder to detect
someone's emotions, which in turn, can diminish the compassion and empathy you
feel toward that person. Thirdly, lying reduces intimacy. Intimacy requires
understanding, honesty in a relationship, which can become nearly impossible without
a foundation of trust. You can only share, confide your private stories with someone
you are intimate and you won't be able to do it if you don't have faith in that person.
Finally, more lies and deception: One study found the brain can adapt to dishonesty.
In other words, the more someone lies, the more their brain gets used to lying.
In conclusion, the consequences of lying are not as simple as we might seem. Lies will
make the people around us no longer trust us. As an idiom in Vietnam "Once
unbelieving, ten thousand times disbelieving".

It is true that people have a lot of ways to achieve success in their life. While some
people think money and appearance are two factors affecting people's success, I would
argue that people can reach the peak of their career when they work hard and have
determination.

On the one hand, there are several reasons why finance and physical beauty are
important contributors to success in life. The first reason is that money enables people
to reach their deep desires like power and frame. For example, if people have a great
deal of money, they have countless opportunities to progress rapidly in their career or
be well-known in the community that they desired. Furthermore, personal appearance
is one of the crucial factors impacting achievement. For instance, it would be a good
chance for candidates to seek a job if they indicate their confident body posture or
wearing clothing apart from great skills and experiences.
On the other hand, it is undeniable that hard-working and resolution are necessary
features that are pivotal to ensuring success. Firstly, hard work helps people gain some
valuable experiences in aspects of life. For example, if a young student practices
several times some kind of assignment in college and at home, they are likely to
minimize the risk of repeating the same mistakes so they have the tendency to get high
scores in the formal exam. Secondly, determination gives us the motivation to set up
goals which become the foundation of success. As a result, this is an essential skill to
allow people to overcome complex problems in all situations and always keep moving
forward to reach their long-term goals.

In conclusion, although money and personal appearance have an influence on

achievement, it seems to me that hard work and resolution are dominant factors in get
the highest achievement.

UNIT 6
It is said that Budget planning is extremely important for everyone
Discuss and give your opinion. Essay at least 250 words

It is common knowledge that having a spending plan is extremely important to any

individual. Essentially, budgeting is balancing expenses with income, which
guarantees an adequate amount of money for important purchases. If this balance is
thrown off, it would be easy to overspend, and debt problems could arise. For this
reason, following a budget could keep people out of debt, or even help them work
their way out of debt eventually. With a spending plan, it is possible to even out the
highs and lows in finances to ensure a manageable situation. Furthermore, using a
realistic budget to forecast future spending could significantly benefit long-term
financial planning, especially when the time comes for large investments such as a
house, a vehicle, or simply just a vacation. It is also crucial to keep emergency savings
or save up for retirement, which can be done by creating a smart budgeting plan.
Many financial goals such as starting a private business or buying an investment could
also be reached.

Would you rather donate time or money to a charity? Why?

I tend to want to donate both my time and money to a charity that I feel
confident in and that is meaningful to society. Because I think that no matter how
much time or money you can give, your donation will make a difference not only to
an organization or individual, but it can also benefit you deeply. As long as acts of
kindness don’t become obligatory or overwhelming, they can enrich the giver and the
whole community.
There are 3 reasons why donating your time or money to a charity is so
beneficial for you. Firstly, give because it will make you happier. Donating to charity
is a major mood booster. The knowledge that you’re helping others is hugely
empowering and, in turn, can make you feel happier and more fulfilled. A research
has identified a link between making a donation to charity and increased activity in the
area of the brain that registers pleasure - proving that as the old adage goes, it really is
far better to give than to receive. Secondly, giving to charity strengthens personal
values. Having the power to improve the lives of others is, to many people, a
privilege, and one that comes with its own sense of obligation. Acting on these
powerful feelings of responsibility is a great
way to reinforce our own personal values and feel like we’re living in a way that
is true to our own ethical beliefs. Thirdly, giving to charity encourages friends and
family to do the same. Your own charitable donations can inspire your nearest and
dearest to give to causes important to them, and could even bring about a family-wide
effort to back a charity or charities that have special significance to you as a group.
Family giving creates a bond, helping to bolster relationships through a shared goal
and raising more money than could otherwise be possible through individual
donations.
In conclusion, as long as when you put your time or money in you are doing it
with a good attitude and being kind, getting recognition won’t stop your good deeds
from being good. Whether you donate because it makes you feel good, do it with a
kind heart, and make your time or money count.
When you reach a goal or an important milestone in your life, it's a time for
celebration. Do you agree or disagree?
We often have larger goals for ourselves and our lives that take months, years, or
decades to attain, so it's a good time to celebrate when you reach a goal or a
significant milestone in your life.
A personal acknowledgement of what you have accomplished in the last months
or year in a particular area of your life may suffice as a celebration of a goal or an
important milestone. There are six reasons to rejoice in your accomplishments.
Celebration, for starters, improves your physiology and mindset. Endorphins, which
make you feel good, are released when you celebrate. These sensations validate your
accomplishments and increase the likelihood of future achievement. When you don't
celebrate a victory, you're teaching your brain that what you're doing isn't really
significant, which lowers motivation and, eventually, outcomes. Second,
congratulating yourself on a job well done inspires you to do more. When we
recognize and celebrate minor victories, it reinforces positive improvements and leads
to more of them. Thirdly, celebrating success makes us feel good, happy. Dopamine is
released when we anticipate an achievement or when we actually make it happen. This
makes life more enjoyable both for ourselves and the people around us. As Esther
Hicks puts it, ‘”There’s nothing more important than that you feel good.”. Fourthly,
there's the chance to share your achievement with others. It's not always about you
when it comes to congratulating yourself on your accomplishments. It can also allow
others to take part in your celebration. They'll hear you talk about how you got to
where you are now, and how you started writing essential pieces. They will be
inspired to make their own success from there. Finally, celebrations can aid in the
transfer of people into new stages of life. People can be motivated to pursue future
ambitions by positive memories of prior accomplishments.
In short, celebrating success brings a lot of benefits, but we also need to
understand its nature and not rest on our success. John Stahl-Wart said that “When we
celebrate a milestone, we are reminded to give thanks for the rest of our everyday
moment.”
1. Do you think it’s important to be completely honest in a relationship?
Yes, honestly is essential in healthy relationships. It has the power to build in power
and grow relationships. Because firstly, honesty builds trust. Honesty is the foundation
for trust in a relationship, and trust is necessary for a relationship to function and
thrive. When you’re always honest with someone, it tells them that they can trust you
and the things you say. It helps them know they can believe your promises and
commitments. Secondly, honesty creates respect. No one in a relationship wants to be
cheated on by their partner. When you are honest, good or bad, you will always
receive sympathy and respect. Thirdly, honesty solves problems. Sometimes
misunderstandings happen when we are not honest. We can work through the
misunderstanding, communicate, solve the issue and be done with it. Finally, Not only
will telling the truth make you a better, wiser person, but it can also help inspire those
around you to believe an honest lifestyle.
2. Do you think it’s important to be completely honest in a job interview?
Yes, I think in a job interview, honesty is essential. The most important reason: being
honest about yourself helps employers understand whether you are suitable for the
working environment, for the position that the company is looking to recruit?
According to award winning social psychologist Ron Friedman, even though there are
many benefits of being honest, it to 1% of people like during their job interviews.
Friedman suggests that interviews create a situation in which applicants are this
audience because they think lying might be the only route to a job offer. But if you
intentionally lie, you may get the job but I believe you will not feel comfortable and
suitable. Besides, you can be trusted. If you lie in an interview, most professional
interviewers will notice your eye movements and body language when you are lying.
In many cases it is fairly obvious as you suddenly look shifty and uncomfortable. In
an interview, you need to tell the truth about material facts. You also have an
obligation not to mislead an interviewer through omission. Integrity still counts for a
lot in interviews. It is better, to be honest than to be sorry later on. Remember, be
smart, be honest, and be strategic.
According to a TED speaker, those who have a disability should have the
opportunity to live active, enjoyable lives.  Do you agree or disagree?
"Those who have a disability should have the opportunity to live active, pleasurable
lives," I fully agree. I believe that having a disability does not imply that a person is
unhealthy or incapable of becoming healthy. Of course, no one wants to be born with
a flaw in their body. Almost all of the defects and disabilities are things we did not
expect. Every person born into this world has the opportunity to live an active and
exciting life, particularly people with disabilities who have experienced numerous
losses and sufferings. Disabled persons have brought in certain flaws that have not yet
been fully cured in the same way that normal people have. Furthermore, people with
disabilities frequently suffer several challenges, hardships, pain, and sadness. Some
people have low self-esteem and live in a negative manner, which can lead to suicide
and depression. The eyes of ordinary people like us may be part of the source of that
poor negativity. Discrimination against people with disabilities is reflected in each
person's views and perceptions, knowledge and experiences; discrimination and
disgust with disabled people's imperfect forms, discrimination when believing that
disabled people are useless and a burden to society; these are outdated views that must
be abandoned. People with disabilities require policies and programs from society and
functional organizations so that they can live a normal, active, and active existence
alongside other people. And each of us, for a moment, please put ourselves in that
situation, to sympathize with and share with unfortunate lives; once bent down,
touched the pain, to understand that people with disabilities have the right to be loved,
to be loved, to live an active and interesting life with the most basic human needs;
once bent down, touched the pain, to understand that people with disabilities have the
right to be loved, to be loved, to live an active and interesting life with the most basic
