Lesson Outline:
During the lesson, the learners will:
1. Introduction: a. Statement of objectives.
b. Recall their idea or thoughts about communication.
2. Motivation: Classroom Activity: “Shing- Bonk- Zoom!”
3. Instruction/Delivery: Discuss the models of communication as well as the elements that makes the process of
communication.
4. Practice: Short Quiz
5. Enrichment: In focused groups, brainstorm about how the process of communication goes.
6. Evaluation: Present real-life communication situations (differentiated tasks) that show the elements and the
process of communication.
7. Materials: PowerPoint presentations, and scoring rubrics

Procedure
INTRODUCTION
Communication is an essential human engagement that makes people connected and updated to each other. It
could be in the form of exchanging ideas or imparting of thoughts. Whatever you call it, communication is very
relevant in one’s life.
MOTIVATION
Classroom Activity: Shing- Bonk- Zoom!
The students are tasked to make a big circle inside the classroom and play the “Shing- Bonk- Zoom!”. Also,
they should see what is the relevance or relation of the activity in oral communication.
INSTRUCTION/DELIVERY
Discussion of the models of communication as well as the elements that makes the process of communication
through a Power Point presentation.
PRACTICE
For a learning check, the learners will take a short quiz about the topic discussed.
ENRICHMENT
In focused small groups, the learners will brainstorm on how the process of communication goes. Using a
simple organizer, they will present the process of communication based on their acquired learning.
EVALUATION
After the task, the learners will plan and present communication situations (differentiated tasks) involving the
process of communication. Thus, all members will be engaged in the presentation that will be evaluated using
the rubrics for performance activity.
