Flank Charges

TUG A charges TUG B. File 1’s charging base is not wholly behind line extending the
v1.0
TUG C charges TUG B. File 7 contacts 5 and fights frontally. File 8’s charging base
TUG Bs front edge. File 1 does press forward to contact base 4 and will fight, but it will is wholly behind line extending the TUG Bs front edge. When 8 presses forward and
not get the flank charge claim contacts 6, it fights with the flank charge claim
File 2 hits the corners of 3 and will fight frontally.

Protecting a flank
Normally a charging TUG can ignore an
enemy CPZ. However, in this case the flank
is protected from the charging cavalry by the
front edge of a friendly TUG in the
1BWx1BW space next to the the target
TUG flank edge.
