GROUND! Position 2 - Bridge + Middle - no hum
1. The three pickups are same style (i. e. Alnico 5 magnet Position 3 - Middle - no hum by the BPNCS
rod poles) and their DC resistance difference is less than Position 4 - Neck + Middle - no hum
1KOhm Position 5 - Neck - no hum by the BPNCS
2. PCB modifications: TONE 1 permanently assigned to Neck pickup
=Add an extra wire (or cut and use the Orange wire) TONE 1 effective for:
connected to the Red wire spot back side on the PCB; Position 5 - Neck only
3. Add wire to connect pin A on the switch to Ground Position 4 - Neck + Middle
4. Use top half of the 5way switch for the BPNCS only! TONE 2 permanently assigned to Bridge pickup
5. Connect Green wire from PCB to pins a1+a3 on switch TONE 2 effective for:
6. VR1 adjusts noise canceling of the B and N pickup Position 1 - Bridge only
=Rotating VR1 CCW must reduce the noise Position 2 - Bridge + Middle
7. VR2 adjusts noise canceling of the Middle pickup Position 3 - Middle ONLY - no TONE applied
=Rotating VR2 CW must reduce the noise **You can also choose Master Tone or Tone 1 and Tone 2
*If 6 and 7 are not right - swap Yellow and Red wires at the to be assigned differently
