What I Need to Know

This module was written and designed to make learning easier especially as we are in
the “new normal” situation. As an educational tool, this module about the Community
and Environmental Health: Characteristics of a Healthy Community challenges you
as a learner, to become creative, resourceful and independent. The scope of the module

of those in the community. It is the foundation of achieving all other goals and essential
for a productive society. It brings greatest benefit to the greatest number of people.
Having a healthy community and environment gives quality and years of healthy life.
Let us be an agent in sustaining and maintaining a healthy community and
environment.
Knowing the characteristics of a healthy environment enables you to protect and keep
our community and environment safe.

community include:
