:Introduction
ISO certification is a stamp of approval from a third party that shows a company follows one
of the standards set by the Worldwide Organization for Standardization (ISO) (ISO). Experts
from all over the world worked together to make the ISO standards. Think of them as a
formula for describing the best way to reach any goal. The standards cover product
development, process management, service delivery, and the use of resources. ISO standards
give national and international laws a solid base on which to be built. This makes trading
easier and saves time. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) is a non-
government group that sets rules for the quality, safety, and effectiveness of products. ISO
Standards are important to our society because they make sure that goods and services all
over the world are safe and of good quality. Businesses may benefit from ISO standards if
.they help them find ways to do things that cost less money
- :Disadvantages
.People get demotivated because certification puts a block on individual initiative .1
.Systematic controls and written procedures are considered as being unnecessary activity .2
Only a book of processes is provided by quality certification, which does not guarantee .3
.greater quality
.The process is expensive .4
.No guarantee that a company that is certified provides quality service or product .5
:Here are some more disadvantages with ISO
A lot of people don't know how ISO 9000 certification works. For it to be used well, people
need to learn how to do it. It costs a lot of money to set up a quality management system
(QMS). It needs a lot of documentation work. Getting ISO certification is a long process that
could take months. The standard is doomed when getting certified is more important than
.doing a good job
