IV RATIONALE

Bagasbas Beach is known as the most favorite beach destination in the province of Camarines
Norte because of many reasons. Primarily, it can be reached even the simplest form of transportation
like bicycle. Second, it is an ideal venue for surfing and other water sports especially for beginners. It is
also a best venue to meditate with the picturesque sunrise, during which, joggers and other health
enthusiasts, gather along the boulevard, considered as the longest boulevard in the country to feel the
fresh breeze and conduct various physical activities.
With those motivations, the Local Government Unit of Daet has come up with the conduct of a
summer beach soccer tournament to make use of the sun, and the sand as the venue. Soccer is one of the
most preferred team games because it is an undemanding game since it does not require much
prerequisite for its conduct. And with the shore as the venue, it would surely create excitement and
would attract both expectators and participants.
It will be held on all Saturdays and Sundays of April for accessibility of all participants since it
targets both students and professionals from the Municipality of Daet besides weekends are said to be
beach days. It is expected that this activity will further boost the distinction of Bagasbas Beach as
Daet’s premier destination.
V OBJECTIVES

1. To promote football game as an ideal physical activity to keep mental health while
coping up with the new normal.

2. To discover and develop football talents from the municipality who will possibly
represent Daet in bigger soccer competitions in the future
3. To inspire and influence the lives of the people towards positivity and contribute to
the well-being of persons, especially mental health.
VI PARTICIPANTS
All interested football players from Daet, Camarines Norte.

The budget shall be charged to Sports Development Fund.
