SPECIAL POWER OF ATTORNEY

KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:

That I, GERARDO ACIDERA ACERET, dual citizen, Filipino and American1, married,
of legal age with address at 19 Nambaran, Baccarra, Ilocos Norte, has named, constituted
and appointed LADY GARDE YANOS MEDRANO, married, of legal age, Filipino and with
address at 19 Namabaran, Bacarra, Ilocos Norte, as my lawful attorney-in-fact, for me and
in my name, place and stead:

1. to file a criminal case and/or civil case against Norma Suguitan

Taylan, Faisal Salle and any and all accomplices of Norma Suguitan
Taylan and Faisal Salle in connection with the unlawful demolition
of the edifice and part thereof belonging to me;
2. to represent me in all matters relative to the continuous conduct and
proceedings in connection with the aforementioned criminal or civil
case;
3. to represent me in all matters relative to the continuous conduct and
proceedings in any case which may be filed against me;
4. to sign all the necessary and appropriate pleadings and
documentary requirements;
5. to sign under oath the required Verification/Certification of Non-
Forum Shopping – the purpose of which are as follows: a)to attest
that the petitions, complaints, motions, and other pleadings are true
and correct to her personal knowledge or based on authentic
records; b) to confirm that the petitions, complaint, motions, and
other pleadings are not filed to harass, cause unnecessary delay or
needlessly increase the cost of litigation; c) to establish that the
factual allegations therein have evidentiary support or, if
specifically identified, will likewise have evidentiary support after a
reasonable opportunity for discovery
6. to attend hearing/s on my behalf, including pre-trial conference
and/or preliminary conference;
7. to negotiate and enter into an amicable settlement;
8. to submit to alternative modes of dispute resolution; mediation and
judicial dispute resolution;
9. to enter into stipulation of facts, definition of issues in the said case;
and
10. to execute, prepare, sign any document, paper, instrument
necessary to effect the aforesaid undertakings and for the early
disposition of cases.

HEREBY GRANTING AND GIVING unto the said attorney-in-fact full power and
authority to do perform every act and thing whatsoever requisite or necessary to be
done in and about the premises as fully to all intents and purposes as the principal
might or could lawfully do if personally present, with power of substitution and
revocation and ratifying and confirming all that my said attorney-in-fact or their
substitute shall lawfully do or cause to be done under and by virtue of these presents.
