Ganito Kami Noon, Paano Kayo Ngayon? Is a fantastic video about the Philippines'

existence and to be proud of because of its content, such as how Filipino people lived at the time.

This video depicts the lives of Filipinos. Some Filipinos value traditional modes of transportation

such as the kalesa and the boat. It enables them to move their goods from one location to another.

They also work hard in all they create in order to live in daily life. They also value the assistance

of animals because it is the only mode of transportation accessible to them. I notice that the

traditional way of living is a simple but remarkable one because as you can see in that video the

architectural structure is being appreciated and the identity of architectural design is still on it

where in fact our generation is being appreciated for these designs. The life of Filipino people in

that time is so far the way we are living today. Other people in the past washed their clothes at

the river while wearing a long dress in that river with other girls who also washed their clothes.

In terms of attire, girls always wear long dresses, and boys wear long sleeves with slacks, which

is distinct from how we dress in this generation. It also included the differences of people based

on their status in life being poor and rich. By that the way of living that time is simple and hard

but being able to experience that kind of life is a great experience because in today time the life

is much easier because of the technology that we have while at the past pure of hard work and

using the traditional way like walking with their goods in their shoulder, riding animals for

transportation and using the old materials like lamps and other material.

Based on the film it represents the complete idea on what happened in the 19th century

with Rizal times. Specifically in terms of way of living and the attitude of people towards being

poor and rich are included in that film. It is a great film because every small detail in that time is

being portrayed there like the materials and the location where it looks like you are at that time.

This film provides a scene of how hard it is to pursue a girl specially in terms of status of life. It

is also a wonderful film because it represents every detail of what happened in that time. On how

Spaniards handle the Philippines, specifically the bad experience of the fellow Filipino people in

the hands of the Spaniards that keeps our freedom away from us. This film also gives a chance to

glance at how we fight for our own freedom from the colonies who are in our country. And also

the way the artist describes their experience in making this film is a remarkable one. Because of

the hard work and great experience for them just to make sure they portray their character in this

film.

The question that is in my head while watching this film is what life we have now after

this event happens. This film wants to know what improvement that we did in our life after we

got our freedom. And I notice based on the film that we now have our own way of living and to

have a continuation of development that will give us an easier way of living. And we can identify

that there are only small things that reflect the traditional way of living in our life because we

embrace the new way of living.

In conclusion, my reflection in this film is that we have different experiences and events

that happen so that we can have our freedom with the Spaniards. I also give a remark on the

simple way of living in the past because other people survive and still provide everything they

need because of hard work that they exert in everyday life. And also I realized that the

importance of animals and natural resources for their survival like using the Boat to transport

goods and the ride for animals was commonly used in that time. And we are now living in a

technology based era where continuous development is our basis for having an easier life. And I

think that it is much happier to live like before with a simple life and still survive. We should just

need to be happy in life and embrace the freedom that we have so that we don't have regrets in

life.
