Introduction
An experiment was done in the mechanical laboratory on the scope of solar energy use,
the experiment was done on a Cussons P9060 photovoltaic solar unit, and reads were
taken for mathematical use. This report is written for the experiment for purpose of
knowing how to calculate the efficiency, fill factor, and the maximum power point of
the solar panel, furthermore about sketching the I-V-P diagram and taking the reads of
the current at short circuit also the voltage at the open circuit. The report only includes
the experimental reads and the electrical calculations that use them to get the desirable
pieces of information that are wanted from this report, it is also written for a solar PV
course assignment.
