After studying on sock books, we have been facilitated by Bac Lieu

University to have practical experiences without any words to describe. This is
the first move in 3 years, and is also the first long day class. This time, the group
moved along the road squirrel moon Can Tho - Dong Thap - An Giang - Kieng
Giang. After 5 days and 4 nights, we have been able to see first and foremost
beautiful scenes known only through broken books or the media, directly
exposed to the long-standing culture of southwestern people. I also understands
more about me career and what I will have to do in the future. Here are the
things I have harvested.
After preparing all the necessary supplies for a field trip. At about 3 am,
all the students majoring in English language classes 11, 12 attended and
gathered at Bac Lieu University. Depart for the first place of the field trip.

The first day : Bac Lieu _ Can tho

CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET
Floating market is a unique form of economic and cultural activities of
agricultural residents that have been present for hundreds of years in the
Mekong Delta. In recent years, when tourism develops, the Mekong Delta
floating market has become an indispensable tourist destination in the travel
programs of domestic and foreign tourists. In this essay, let's find out what its
hidden beauty is that really attracts visitors to it.
Coming to the river region, visitors will experience the feeling of walking the
bustling floating market in the morning; Take a boat to visit Cai Rang floating
market, explore the life and business of people on the floating market and buy
unique rural gifts for relatives.
CON SON
From the city center. Can Tho you go in the direction of Highway 91.
Arriving at Co Bac boat station (Binh Thuy ward, Binh Thuy district), then
starting the boat to Con Son takes about 5-10 minutes to arrive or rent Can Tho
boat at Ninh Kieu wharf. From a distance, Con Son seems wild when
surrounded by ridges, four sides are immense rivers.
Con Son has an area of about 70 hectares of fertile land, alluvial all year round,
green gardens. In particular, the people of the alcoholic land are honest, simple,
likable, and hospitable, enthusiastic to bring a close closeness to captivate any
fastidious visitors when visiting this place.
Not far from the mainland, but Con Son has a completely different space.
Tourists seem to step into another world, quiet and fresh with the simple and
rustic beauty like the time of opening.
Shady country road
The most attractive attraction of Con Son Can Tho tourism is the community
based tourism model that brings a new experience on each journey of discovery.
Community based tourism is all households working together to do tourism.
People here associate with each other on the basis of village love.
Each household has its own characteristics. Households with fruit gardens are
offered to visitors to choose from. Any household with a fish raft will bring
guests to visit Households who are skilled will guide guests to make cakes.
Each household has its own job and function. All create a team of support, fully
compensate for each other for the ever-growing Con Son tourism and leave good
impressions in the hearts of visitors.
Con Son’s specialties must include “jumping snakehead fish” located in a
garden house. In order for the fish to perform, the owner of the orchard must

shape them to reflect on the sound by dividing the daily food down, with each
feeding using a hammer. This activity is repeated many times, causing the flock
of thousands of fish to bounce themselves into the air like “jumping” to catch
prey whenever they hear the sound.
snakehead fish fly
From raising fish rafts to supplying them to restaurants, the people of Con have
taken advantage of their own river production facilities to turn into tourist
attractions. The Be Fish Farming Village is located at the gateway to Con Son
and is currently visited by delegations before or after stepping on the alcohol.
Here, in addition to learn the process of care and processing ... visitors also
experience feeding fish. As long as the guests drop a handful of food prepared
by the owner into the water, hundreds of fish will gather around, wave the water,
creating an interesting and beautiful scene.

THIEN VIEN TRUC LAM

Truc Lam Phuong Nam Monastery is one of the largest Buddhist works in the
South West. The monastery was started in July 2013 and was officially
inaugurated on May 17, 2014 in Phong Dien district, Can Tho city.
The tall and wide three-door gate is built in the direction of the curved attic
with the head of the blade roofed with red tile. In the middle of the three
mandarins mounted a non-titled canvas with the name of the monastery in
national language on the two sides, there were two majestic generals standing

guard. They are Vi Da Ho Phap and Tieu Representative Si representing good

and evil. Passing the entrance to the inside gate is a courtyard paved with bright
red bricks, on the left side, on each side, there is a small 2-storey eight-storey
house in the middle of a lotus pond. From the main road, if you want to go
upstairs, you have to go up a small bridge, around to build a circular trail around
the pond.
The spacious courtyard paved with bright red brick
CHUA ONG
According to the existing wood-carving documents, Ong pagoda started
construction in 1894, until 1896, it was completed on an area of 532 square
meters. Most of the materials to build the pagoda were brought from
Guangdong. Just entering the gate, is the signboard “Quang Trieu Hoi Quan”.
The work was founded by a group of Chinese people from Guangzhou and Trieu
Khanh, so named “Quang Trieu Hoi Quan” is a place of worship, exchange,
meeting fellow countrymen, helping each other to do business to settle in the
region. New land. This is a rare pagoda of Can Tho in particular and the
country in general still retains the ancient status quo and architectural artistic
value with typical religious meanings from the time of its construction, despite
many years of war. War, especially the two resistance wars against France and
America.
Day 2 : Sa Dec flower villa
SA DEC FLOWER VILLAGE
Dong Thap is a land famous for valuable historical and cultural relics and
unique culinary arts ... and especially the flower village of Sa Dec – the flower
capital of the West. Sa Dec flower village (Dong Thap province) was originally
Tan Quy Dong Flower Village, a traditional craft village that is over 100 years
old. Located on the bank of Tien River year round, windy, fertile alluvial, full
of sunlight, and is known as the land of ornamental flowers. Traveling to Dong
Thap, coming to Sa Dec flower village, you will admire the breathtaking scene
with a multitude of blooming flowers, fragrant.
Today, the characteristics of Sa Dec flower village still remain different from
the image of straight flower beds on the land, because flowers here are grown on
high trellises, below is the invasive water surface led from the canals. Flowing
in. People just wade their feet, during the flooding season, they used canoes and
waded among flower beds to take care of them.
ANCIENT HOUSE HUYNH THUY LE

Huynh Thuy Le Old House is located at 255A, Nguyen Hue Street, Ward 2, Sa
Dec City, Dong Thap Province, Vietnam. In addition to the combined value of
East-West architectural styles, the old house is also famous for being associated
with a borderless love affair of a French writer Marguerite Duras, and a rich
Vietnamese-Chinese-Chinese prince Huynh Thuy. Le in the early 20th century.
ancient house Huynh Thuy Le
The house was originally the residence of Mr. Huynh Thuy Le’s family – the
first lover of the French writer, Marguerite Duras. This relationship later
became a memoir for her to write the famous novel The Lover (The Lover) in
1984. This work was adapted by French director Jean-Jaques Annaud into the
movie L’Amant in 1992.
The old house was built in 1895 by Mr. Huynh Cam Thuan (Mr. Huynh Thuy
Le’s father), a famous Chinese businessman (Fujian, China) famous for a time in
Sa Dec, built in 1895 in the middle of the town. Noisy is located along the Sa
Dec river.
Originally, this was a traditional three-room house in the southwestern region,
258 square meters wide with the main materials of precious wood, and a boat-
shaped roof that was roofed with yin and yang tiles.
In 1917, the owner restored the house with solid bricks to cover the wooden
frame inside. Therefore, it looks like a French villa, but inside, you see an
architectural style with bold Chinese colors.
It is a harmonious combination between Eastern and Western architecture. The
whole house is built on an area of 258 square meters in the shape of a traditional
Vietnamese house, roofed with yin and yang tiled roof, both sides of the gable
are curved in the shape of a boat in the style of a northern temple roof.
However, the interior architecture of the house is tall and airy, the wall is built
of thick brick 30-40cm thick, enclosing a wooden frame structure, increasing the
bearing capacity according to the traditional French architecture.
The house has three rooms, decorated inside in Chinese style. The gazebo, the
citadel painted with gilded paint, carved very similar to the Chinese pagoda, the
main frame with the Loan Phung double touches expressing “Loan Phung
concocting the color of compromise” means eternal happiness. . The frames on
the sides are carved with birds and flowers to show the prosperity of the family.

Many types of building materials such as bricks and glass are imported from
France, the floor tile of the size 30x40cm was imported from France in 1917, the
back of the brick clearly states the place and year of manufacture. Down
because Mr. Huynh Cam Thuan thinks “water flows to a low point”, money will
flow to his house.
Right at the main door of the house, there is a door frame with horizontal
parallel bars that can be pulled back and forth. At noon, the house does not
close the main door but pulls this door frame. Light and wind can still flow into
the house, neighbors who see the door frame pulled will not disturb.
After Huynh Thuy Le’s death, his children all settled abroad. The house of Mr.
Huynh Thuy Le’s family was requisitioned by the State, as the headquarters of
the economic police team of Sa Dec town police. By 2007, the tourism industry
in Dong Thap was officially “opened” to exploit the old house, serving domestic
and foreign visitors.
In 2008, the old house was certified as a provincial monument, and was
recognized as a national monument in 2009. After many efforts to improve
service quality for tourists, the number of visitors coming to the house This old
house is getting crowded.
The majority of foreign tourists coming here know the house through the
famous novel The Lover. They want to come, to feel the intense breath of that
short but eternal love story.

produced many scholars and talented people for the country.
He passed Pho Bang in 1901 and was appointed a mandarin.
However, due to the corrupt situation of the feudal
government and always sided with the poor, she was
dismissed and later returned to live in Hoa An village, Dong
Thap province, working as a teacher, taking medicine. To
cure the people in the area, and at the same time spread the
patriotism until the time of closing my eyes and hands. To
commemorate and show gratitude, Dong Thap authorities and
people rebuilt Nguyen Sinh Sac’s tomb. Up to now, after
many times of embellishment, the relic of Pho Nguyen Sinh
Sac in Cao Lanh city has become a famous historical-cultural
relic complex of Dong Thap in particular and the country in
general. With an area of more than 9 hectares, the overall site
is a harmonious architectural complex including many main
works such as: tomb, Sao lake, Nguyen Sinh Sac temple,
gallery of life and Mr. Nguyen Sinh Sac, the model of Uncle
Ho’s Stilt House and the model recreating a corner of the old
Hoa An village ... All exuding simplicity but majesty,
closeness and solemnity, making everyone’s footsteps unable
to help when he remembers a patriotic man who was born to
President Ho Chi Minh, the beloved leader of the nation.
The highlight of the relic is the grave area of Nguyen Sinh
Sac. The arch of the tomb facing the east is more than 10 m
high, with a stylized lotus-shaped roof like a hand spread face
down, on top of the nine innovative folk dragon-shaped
embankments symbolizing the Mekong Delta provinces.
Protect and protect the resting place of Pho Bang. The grave
is covered with marble, the grave has a prominent gray
rectangle on the white ground stone grave, with a hexagonal
shape extending gradually to the sides. Not far from the grave
is the low peak of a lotus bud made of marble. In front of the
tomb is a five-pointed star lake symbolizing the Fatherland of
Vietnam, in the middle of the towering white lotus is the
symbol of the homeland Kim Lien (Nghe An) and Cao Lanh
(Dong Thap), and also is a symbol of Nguyen Sinh Sac’s life
of purity, patriotism and compassion. The grounds of the
tomb have many kinds of ornamental plants and flowers
brought to souvenir by the people throughout the country.
Slight to the left of the tomb is the temple area of Nguyen Sinh
Sac. The roof of the temple is roofed with red yin and yang,
the floor is lined with dark marble. In the midst of the
worshiping hall, there is a statue of Pho Bang old man, nearby
is a wooden table which is intricately carved to place
worshiping tools. The whole architecture and decorative
design of the temple area exude a harmonious, cozy and
sacred beauty.

MUBARAK MOSQUE
Mubarak Cathedral is located on a large land, on the banks of
Chau Giang, in Chau Giang hamlet, Chau Phong commune,
Tan Chau town, An Giang province (formerly Phu Hiep
commune, Phu Tan district, An Giang province). Local
people often call the mosques here as temples. From Chau
Giang ferry, you turn left hand to admire the beauty of this
project.
From a distance, the Mubarak mosque resembles the ancient
Persian temples, India. From the outside to look at is the main
gate with an imposing arc, followed by a large courtyard and
then to the main cathedral. On the roof, in front is a large 2-
storey tower, the top of the tower is oval. In the tower are the
crescent moon and star symbols.
Four corners have four small towers, the middle has two

circular towers. The main arches are arched in a pointed arch.

The two sides have 12 arched arches wrapped around the
corridor. There are no statues or images like the Catholic
churches inside the mosque.
VILLAGE CHAM
An excursion journey in the mysterious land of An Giang
you can go anywhere without having to think or think.
However, wherever you go, do not forget to visit the Cham
Chau Giang village, an indispensable place in the itinerary to
discover the cultural beauty of An Giang. The life of the
Cham ethnic community in An Giang always has a strange
attraction and this is also the writing inspiration of many
musicians, writers and poets.
Due to Islam (Islam), the Cham customs here are also
associated with the rules in Islam. Men wear sarongs – called
blankets. Women wear sarongs called skirts. Men wear hats,
old hats are white, young hats are black. Women are wearing
Mat’ra towels. Men here do not drink alcohol. Cham Muslim
women here are often not allowed to go out, but just hang
around the house doing housework, weaving. They don’t eat
pork; Do not wear gold.

the Cham girl is weaving

Also here, you will visit to learn about traditional brocade
weaving that has been around for hundreds of years. Although
the brocade here is not much different from that of the Cham
people in Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan. But because of the
different cultural acculturation, religious beliefs, each pattern

shown on each product has created a separate impression.

All products are handmade
Mixed with all hand-woven brocade products, there are also
jewelry items such as rings, necklaces, earrings, earrings, etc.
At the establishments. Cham here do very meticulous and
eye-catching. If you want to buy for use or as a gift for
relatives and friends, these items are a reasonable choice.
TRA SU MELALEUCA FORES
Tra Su Melaleuca forest ecosystem is quite diverse with
many different types of flora and fauna. From rare birds,
storks, cauldron to different aquatic species such as fish,
snakes, frogs, ...

Particularly, the vegetation cover is mostly cajuput, water-

fern and with more than 140 different species of plants. All
make a wonderful natural picture in An Giang.
Here the water surface is covered with two types of water
duckweed: water hyacinth and duckweed. Blue water ferns
covered the water surface to create wonderful green patches.
Especially when taking pictures with it is quite soft. Surely
you will have an eye on the green duckweed roads in Tra Su
forest.

Tra Su Melaleuca Forest

Here I see a bamboo bridge connecting from the entrance to
the inside of the pier. This is a section of bamboo bridge with
a length of up to 10km, including many interconnecting
sections. It is also confirmed in the Vietnam record book as
the largest bamboo bridge.
The longest bamboo bridge in Vietnam
Coming to the center, you are even more surprised with the
14m high observation tower. Standing from above, the whole
Tra Su cajuput forest seems to shrink inside your sight.
Creates a wonderful scene like an ink painting. Especially
with a telescope you can observe in detail each position of the
storks. From foraging to moments in the nest.
Day 4 : Chau Doc _ Ha Tien
BA CHUC HOUSE RELIC AREA
Ba Chuc Tomb Relic in Ba Chuc town, Tri Ton district, An
Giang was recognized as a national historical relic on July 10,
1980. This place preserves the remains of innocent people
who were murdered and is considered an indictment of the
genocidal crimes of Pol Pot, forever remembered. At the
same time, it affirms the humane value, the righteousness and
the lofty international obligation of the Vietnamese Volunteers
to liberate Cambodia from genocide and national
reconstruction.
After the massacre, Ba Chuc was only a wasteland with pain
to the end. That was the most difficult period for Ba Chuc.
Some survivors lose loved ones. They dare not return to their
hometowns because they are haunted by horrifying memories.
But there are also people who hold on because of their
gratitude to the deceased as well as live fully with their
homeland. Many people ran away from the enemy and came
back to face many difficulties: homelessness, cattle and cattle
were killed, crops and crops destroyed. All facilities were
nearly leveled, Ba Chuc was engulfed in mourning and full of
the smell of death.
The massacre was over, more than 30 diplomatic, press and
United Nations delegations arrived to witness with their own
eyes the crimes committed by the Polots against the Ba Chuc
people. An Giang Red Cross Association participates in
helping people collect the body of the deceased for cremation
in April 1978. People take advantage of searching for what
remains after the time of Po Po occupation of the commune.
Piles of human bones are stored at the tomb, temporarily
erected behind Phi Lai pagoda. Skull bone relics were
chipped due to head smashing or piercing bullets.

The first tomb was built right after the southwestern border
war ended in 1979. At that time, the tomb was built quite
simply in a hexagonal shape with the outstanding features of 4
arms holding 4 soaked swords. Blood is plunged straight to
the ground, showing the will of the Vietnamese people to hate
the barbarian murderers of Pol Po.
THACH DONG
Thach Dong Ha Tien, also known as Thach Dong village van
is a famous tourist destination of Ha Tien, located in 10
beautiful scenes of old Ha Tien mentioned in poetry. This is
also the place where Thach Sanh was discovered killing the
eagle to save Princess Quynh Nga in the ancient Thach Sanh
fairy tale.
Step inside Thach Dong is an extremely magical cave system
with many stalactites with interesting shapes, attracting a lot
of tourists to visit and take pictures. This is also the location
of the ancient Tien Son pagoda, built in 1790, to worship
Buddha Thich Ca and Bodhisattva Quan The Am.
Coming to Thach Dong, visitors will hear a lot of mysterious
stories about cliffs with strange shapes, the place where Thach
Sanh – Ly Thong tales are discovered. To the east of the cave,
there is a celestial cave gate, so when the light falls, it is called
the way to heaven. According to the ancient legend, Thach
Sanh followed the mouth of this cave to get inside the cave to
kill the eagle and save Princess Quynh Nga.

Thach Dong
In the cave there is a small niche, looking at only the abyss. It
is said that, because of curiosity, there were many people who
went down to find out but did not see up. Someone used a dry
coconut engraved with words to roll down a niche, then
discovered that coconut floating on the sea surface of Mui Nai,
proving that this niche is open to the sea. This is also the road
that Thach Sanh went to meet King Thuy Te in the fairy tale.
Today, the mouth of this cave has been blocked to ensure the
safety of visitors.
BEACHS MUI NAI
Ha Tien is blessed with an attractive beauty by nature, but just
looking at it is enough to be captivated. Among the most
famous tourist attractions in Ha Tien, it is impossible not to
mention Mui Nai beach is one of the rare "cross-country Ha
Tien" still exists today after more than 300 years of history.
With a very fresh space, cool Mui Nai beach is an ideal
destination for visitors to rest and explore. Also in this place I
experienced the wonderful scenery that is watching the calm
sun. Besides, I also experienced the mini-game organized by
the tour guides very interesting and bustling, leaving me
unforgettable memories.
sunset scene
Next to the beach is a small market, selling all kinds of marine
products. In each afternoon, each group of boats docked to

bring goods to the market. Seafood here includes fresh fish,

squid, shrimp, and clams, very delicious and cheap.

Around the beach is a fishing village lurking in the green of

mountains and forests. With any fruit season, Mui Nai offers
visitors all kinds of specialty fruits of the West.

Unlike most beaches in Vietnam, which are located to the

East, where every morning to welcome sunrise, Mui Nai
Beach is located in the southwest of the country, where you
will see the most splendid sunset Vietnam
