SCHOOL HIP CORPORATE VIDEO COMPETITION FOR
PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS 2022
 
1.0 INTRODUCTION
The HIP corporate video refers to a video presentation where the
school promotes or showcases anything related to English activities mainly
HIP conducted at the school so far. It is up to the school to come up with a
creative idea for presenting or showcasing their HIP activities and anything
related in 5 minutes video. It is more or so like a normal video corporate
introducing or promoting the school or organization, but in this competition, is
focusing more on the sharing of the school’s HIP activities.
 
In other words, it’s like showcasing what the school has done so far for
HIP but in video form. Get creative, involve the whole community, and
produce a video showing the school’s HIP-related programmes, activities etc.
Include catchy phrases, clips, pictures, or anything related to make your HIP
Corporate Video stands out!
 
2.0      OBJECTIVES

2.1      To involve the whole community in supporting the HIP programme


thus, using the language in a meaningful way possible which in this case
producing a video.

2.2      To produce an interesting video corporate but focusing on HIP at


the school to promote HIP.

2.3      To attract pupils’ interest and the whole community to get involved
in HIP-related activities thus improving one’s language through this HIP
video corporate.
 
3.0      ELIGIBILITY
 
This competition is divided into two categories which are
 
Primary School
Secondary School
 
 

 
4.0      RULES AND GUIDELINES
 
4.1      The one in charge to produce the video is unlimited. It could be a
teacher in charge, a group of teachers, or even collaboration between
teachers and parents or even the pupils themselves.
 
4.2      The video must be original and never have been published on
any social media platform or have won a prize in any other
competitions prior to this competition. Plagiarized or translated works
will be disqualified immediately.
 
4.3      The duration of the video should be 3 to 5 minutes. If the video is
5 minutes 30 seconds, the extra seconds are still acceptable. More
than 5 minutes and 59 seconds are not acceptable. Video must be
saved in MP4/3GP/AVI/MOV/WMV file and uploaded via a link
provided by the organizer. The organizer will not be responsible for
corrupted or problematic video files submitted.
 
4.4      Video must be in full HD (High Definition) format or 1080p.  
 
4.5      The video must include all the HIP-related activities or
programmes conducted at the school. This may include video clips of
the activities, pictures, montages, s or even HIP scores, projects,
innovation, etc.
 
4.6      HIP CORPORATE VIDEO MUST not touch on sensitive issues of
ethnicity, race, and religion of any kind.
 
4.7      The video can be edited with any editing software and the video
must be in landscape mode. You can add subtitles, transitions,
montage, and so on.
 
4.8      Professional assistant meaning hiring a video editor outside to
produce a video for the school taking part is strictly prohibited. It should
be the member, community, teachers, or students of the school who
produce the whole thing.
 
4.9      The video submitted is considered final. Once submitted, the
judges will evaluate that particular video submission and cannot be
corrected or edited afterward.
 
4.10   The video submitted will not be returned to the owner and the
organizer reserves the right to print or publish the winning HIP
CORPORATE VIDEO. HOWEVER, the copyright remains the property
of the school participant.
 
4.11   The organizer will not be liable for any form of claim related to
plagiarism against participants by any relevant party or any kind of
effect after the video has been produced.
 
4.12   The evaluation of the video will be divided into three major criteria
which are creativity, impact, presentation, and performance. You may
refer to the attachment to read the details.
 
5.0      LANGUAGE AND DEMEANOR
 
5.1      It is compulsory to use the English language throughout the
video. You can add English subtitles.

5.2      Use of vulgar words and gestures is strictly prohibited and


videos that include sensitive issues such as politics or race will be
DISQUALIFIED.
 
6.0      ADJUDICATION

6.1      A panel of at least 3 or 5 judges will be appointed for the


competition.

6.2      Marks will be allocated according to the following criteria :


Creativity 30%
Impact 40%
Presentation and performance 30%
Total 100%
 
     6.3   Judges will collectively determine the placing by a clear majority
vote.
     6.4    Schools’ marks are confidential and will not be disclosed.
     6.5   All decisions are final. No appeal is allowed.

7.0 AWARDS AND PRIZES

7.1 Prizes are awarded as follows


Winner for Primary School level
Winner for Secondary School level
