Let me show you where to put your tent. We’re full this
weekend. The start of the school holidays is always
very busy. Next week will be better. You have got the
last place. It’s near the shop. The shop is open from 7
am to 9 pm. It sells sunscreen, water bottles, insect
repellent and food, of course. Right, here we are. It’s
getting late. You’ll need your torches soon.
So we’ve got a few rules:
No noise after 10 p.m. and before 7.30 a.m.
Are you going to cook at the campsite? Well, please
put your food in your tent or your car. Sometimes
animals or birds look for food. And please don’t swim in
the river. It’s dangerous. There’s a swimming pool here
and there’s a great beach ten minutes by car from
here. Children can play near the shop, but they can't
play football near the tents.
Right, that’s it. I hope you enjoy your stay. On TV they
said it will be warm and sunny all week.

So this is a photo of our first campsite. That’s Ben with

our tiny stove. He’s making tea for five of us. We took
some food with us but we also collected things from the
jungle – only fruit and plants. Our guide suggested we
try snake meat but nobody wanted to kill one.

Here's the weather for tomorrow. In the north-west of

England the weather will be cloudy. It will be about 14
degrees centigrade in the afternoon. There will also be
wind so it will feel extremely cold. In the south, it will be
10 degrees warmer. It will be sunny so people here can
enjoy their Sunday on the beach. Further north in
Scotland, it will be cool early morning with some fog
but then much nicer later on.
