Toddle is a collaboration platform for teaching teams; Toddle is to teaching, what Figma is to
design. Toddle’s mission is to amplify teaching for 60 million K-12 educators globally and
support them in delivering meaningful and personalised learning experiences.

In its current version, Toddle empowers teachers to work together and better across different
stages of the teaching-learning process - right from curriculum planning and assessments to

What problem is Toddle solving?

Teaching is complex - an average teacher wears 4-5 different hats on a single day at work. While
ed-tech has gone crazy (especially post COVID), no one is really solving for the teacher who is at
the centre of the education ecosystem. Because of this, teachers have to either make do with
clunky LMS solutions or use tools that are not designed keeping their unique work ows in mind.

Designers have access to world class tools, so do developers, marketeers, salespeople, and
accountants; you think of any profession and the state of technology in that profession is better
than what is available to teachers today. Toddle is attempting to change this. The Toddle Team
believes that teachers who are shaping our future generations deserve access to high quality
technology solutions. Toddle is building intuitive tools with a focus on helping teachers become
better versions of themselves.

The following questions guide product thinking at Toddle:

• Can we create delightful experiences that help teaching teams collaborate better and
become more effective?
• Can we build tools that help teachers personalise learning for their students?
• Can we help teachers around the world connect with each other meaningfully?

Size of the opportunity

During ve years prior to COVID, technology penetration amongst teachers and students had
grown 2.5 times globally. Lockdowns imposed by COVID have fast-tracked this growth with
penetration increasing a further 2.1 times just over the last 6 months. Increasing technology
penetration combined with the absence of high quality tools for teachers presents a massive
opportunity for Toddle.

• There are 60 million K-12 educators globally (compare this with 20 million IT professionals -
focus of thousands of SaaS companies)
• The software for teachers and schools market is currently at USD 15 Billion and projected to
double in size over the next 3 years
• Teacher training market (next logical step for Toddle) is estimated to be USD 50 Billion and
doesn’t have a single product-led company in the space

Short term plan

Toddle started with IB schools with a deep focus on IB’s Primary Years Programme (PYP). Toddle
has managed to develop a strong foothold in the market converting 10% of all PYP schools
globally into paid customers. Over the next 8-12 months, the plan is to achieve the following:

• Go deeper into IB PYP and make the offering even more powerful
• Make Toddle Community the go-to-place for IB PYP educators
• Expand into the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) and IB Diploma Programme (DP)
• Expand into in the larger set of progressive schools internationally outside the IB

Long term vision

Toddle intends to continue being “teachers- rst” and envisages creating a suite of products to
support teachers around the world. Think Atlassian for teachers! While some of these products
will be B2B, others will be B2C. Toddle wants to be:
• the platform through which all progressive educators around the world teach in their classes
• the go-to-place for these teachers to connect with and learn from each other
• the platform where teachers come to up-skill themselves
• a marketplace that helps teachers earn at least 20% more than they currently do by
connecting them with the right opportunities
